I finally replaced my old Battle Zone Missile. The pro recommended a Brunswick Avalanche, which is essentially the newer version by the same company. It comes solid (hooks earlier), and pearl (hooks later) but I got the former to more accurately mimic my old ball.

If you were curious what path it is expected to take:
I tried rolling it today. It actually hooks significantly more than my Battle Zone Missile. I have to start all the way on the left, and throw it quite fast in order to get it to make it to the pocket (and not cross back over to the left side of the pins!). After three games, my arm was already getting tired. However, there was a benefit to this: whenever the ball looked like it was good, it was a strike. Now I just need to make that 75% of the time instead of 25% lol.

| Nice! I used to bowl a while ago, I had a bowling ball, not sure about the quality but it looked cool! i grew out of it though |

I thought a bowling ball was just a ball of mass. Flare points, RG-average, Hook Potential, damn....

| Your new bowling ball looks good. I've been thinking about getting a new one for like 2 years now. I've had mine for like 6 years now. Although I kinda don't really wanna switch because then I have to get use to a whole new ball and everything that goes with it. |

I bowled for three years and I still do, but im going to stop in college, its just too white trash where I live.. Im 17, high score of 255 and I have a neptune with a small amount of hook 14 lbs. Whats your guy's high scores?
I screwed my chances of being an amateur in college because i played ina money league (won like 150$ though haha).

Hmm... I started somewhat formally in 9th grade... and played on the team through 12th grade. Didn't play much in college, then picked it up again last fall. High score last year 278 (see my earlier blogs lol) |

My high score is 279 and I've bowled no and off since my soph. in high school, so that was 2000 I believe and I bowl with conquest I believe that I've had for 6 years now I believe.Last edit: 2008-07-20 11:31:14 |

Sweet. for that 255 I bowled i had like 6 strikes in a row in practice then the games started and i bowled 8 in a row then fucked up with a few spares and a 9 open. I was so mad because i technically bowled 14 strikes in a row  |
