Just step out of the shower and dry yourself with a towel.

So you don't have regular heating in your bath room? ._.

Yes I do that. The only problem is, when the bathroom is cool to begin with, you feel much colder when you are wet.

Luckily my bathroom does have heating. However, depending on time/season, the bathroom could be in the lower 60s F. This makes you feel cold when you get out of the shower. Your face has inspired me to make a pellucidity face ;_;

When you get out dry your legs and arms first because they have the greatest surface area to volume ratio. Problem solved. Everytime you use that heater you are killing the environment (not to mention your power bill)

Oh this is a nice suggestion. I'm going to try it.

Er what? How are you killing the environment? I mean, using electricity does in turn spell bad news for the environment, but I think the amount of energy used with this is much less than many other places where you haven't pointed this out (any discussion about central air conditioning lol). Besides, if the house was warmer (more expensive and worse for environment) then the bathroom wouldn't require the additional heat.

I used to do the drying off in the shower one and I also tried turning it blindingly hot just before I get out. This heater idea sounds best though.

I used to have that problem as well (used to study in Canada lol, winter is painful)

yeah, it's simple, just keep a dry towel within hand-reach so that you don't have to leave the shower to get the towel. Before you finish, heat up the water 10-15% and soak up urself in hot water for 30 secs. Turn off water and immediately use the dry towel at hand to dry yourself up real quick. The order to dry up is head, chest, back, arms, wrist, leg and feet.

PS: don't forget to dry up the place under your arms

Problem solved.

1. portable fan heater is for your BEDROOM , waaay too much effort to unplug it and bring it to the bathroom then have to go and get it again later, plus u cant use it in ur bedroom until u'v dried urself off abit due to danger

2. i have gas central heating , radiators on in bedroom and bathroom only. make sure bathroom door is always closed. edit: o and pay ur fuckin bill

3. depends on your timing......if you really want u can go straight back to ur bedroom and cover urself up with ur duvet while u browse TL, it'll dry by tonight or if it doesn't who cares, a job took priority

4. 20 quick press-ups..... this will solve any heat problems u have straight away!!!

Effort? It takes like 5 seconds to unplug it and carry it into the bathroom for me.... and another 5 seconds to go back. Honestly not a big deal. Also, I dry myself off like 90%+ before I leave the bathroom

I always leave the door closed 100% regardless XD.

Hmm. Let's see here...

No central heating, in fact no heaters in that entire area of the house. We have one of those water saver showerheads which slows the water down and reduces pressure hardcore; you can only cover 1/3 of your body max with water at a time. You learn this weird swaying motion so that the water is constantly moving around your body, just as a spot is about to get cold (relative to the water temp) it gets hit by water again. Anyway, I digress.

The solution
Ridiculously hot showers, close the door and window to the bathroom, let the entire bathroom steam up as you shower. Once you turn off the shower you have 1 minute~ to dry yourself before it starts getting cold (The steam stops being warm at this point). If the morning is really fucking cold (midwinter) then bring clothes with you into the bathroom to get changed into instantly, otherwise make a run for your room with your clothes already laid out and pull them on asap.

EDIT: These are morning showers. On days where we know the next morning it's gonna be close to 0 (celsius, and only in midwinter really) then we'll leave a portable heater on overnight.

I do this sometimes.

Pretty much just in the winter.
There's really no temperature change at all. You're hot in the shower, and then you get out, and you're still toasty.

It owwwwwwwwns

It is almsot 6:00 a.m where I am right now, my house is somewhere near 59-63 degrees I would imagine with it being a little colder outside.... I wanted to take a nice warm shower, but didn't want to get cold after.

I actually was thinking .... I could take a normal shower then when I was almost done take 3-4 minutes and plug up the tub, and fill it with 6-8 inches of hot water, then sit down turn off the shower and my head/chest and arms while keeping my legs warm then going straight from sitting to drying my masercrotch/pelvicarea/chode/leftball and right/pubic hair and behind my knees.

I live in california I don't own a portable heater, but I do have coco.

Fuck, I just talked myself into Coco ,a bath and my new book "Life after genius"

sob.
