I've seen videos on youtube/etc of people driving in their car. Usually, the passenger was holding the camera and pointing it at whatever was interesting (such as the car the driver was racing against). I was wondering if there was a way to mount the camera to record video.
I realized that I can place my digital camera between the passenger-side headrest (in its elevated position) and the seat. It doesn't give you the best viewing angle, but it works. I uploaded my two test runs to youtube.
Read the annotation.
Couldn't resist. Skip around as necessary.
Any suggestions for other things to record? If anyone else wants to give it a try, make sure you push down on the headrest so that the camera is less likely to fall out. I doubt it will work well with an actual camcorder though.

my friends and i go on drives on the weekends and i've seen people using the stickypod. I've never personally used it so i cant give you any reviews, but it does take amazing angle footage.

Ah that's pretty cool. It looks to me like those only work for camcorders and not digital cameras? I Watched the demo videos so I see what you mean.

Mine: 2008.5 GT was about 24. The 2009:
MSRP: $25,125 so you could probably get it for a hair under 25.
