This shit is called 더덕 (Duh-Duck). No, it is not made of ducks. They are actually herbal roots straight from Korea, and it tastes like BEEF.
Unfortunately it is more expensive than beef itself

Pork BBQ! 삼겹살 (Sahm-Kyup-Sahl) is one of the greatest things they sell in Korea. 1 thick strip of pork will be around 6000 won to 9000 won in most places and this baby with lettuce + grilled onions + grilled garlic + some of that SAMZZANG makes anybody regardless of nationality (unless you aren't a pork eater) happy.
iirc Rekrul loves eating this shit with endless bottles of Soju at his side. If he likes this shit, well that means YOU BETTER TRY IT WHEN YOU GET HERE

This is far by the most rage inducing North Korean Traditional Cold Noodles (함흥냉면) ever created. There are many variations of cold noodles in Korea, but the North Korean version makes you ANGRY! The noodles are thin but it is unbreakable. You need to literally chew the noodles 10 times to break it so you can swallow your first mouthful, not to mention this is so spicy even normal Koreans have a hard time eating it.
BUT! IT IS SWEET AND SPICY! MY FAVORITE <3
If you are a spicy food nut I recommend this shit too.

i gravitate towards those red, hot, spicy soup-broth-pot things
namely, there is hae-jang-gook, chu-uh-tang, various jeon-gols, gam-ja-tang
on the non-spicy side, sun-dae-gook rules imo
unrelated but good, touring the seaside of korea (it is a peninsula u know) and feasting on their seafood specialties (fresh clams, sashimi for cheap price) fucking rules |
