Artosis is a bit overenthusiastic about what happened at IEF. It is not like foreigners have not taken games off of Korean players in the past (and note that these were single game losses, not BoX losses). Boxer`s losses in particular are not that shocking, considering his abysmal TvP (he lost to Trap in the recent perliminaries...yes, that Trap). Overall, IEF seems more like a series of unfortunate events for the Korean players as opposed to being proof of foreigners catching up to Korean progamers.
Still, it is fair to give credit where it is due. So good job by G5, White-Ra, Pj and JayStar. Also, congratulations to IdrA on 3rd place (although, arguably, he had a preety good group to work with ).
Also, the premonition announcement turning out to be SC2 Beta instead of TSL2 would be the biggest stunt in Brood War history.Too bad the chances of that happening are preety much non-existant. |

Honestly, if it turns out that the premonition announcment is about SC2 instead of TSL2 I'd be hugely disappointed.
