I have signed up for my final 2 college classes.

Not a big deal right?

People graduate all the time. With honors, with big fancy double degrees. Some graduate in 4, or even fewer years.

Took me 6 fucking years to get my English degree from Oregon State. That is, supposing these final 2 classes go off without a hitch.

No I am not stupid or challenged. I am just both incredibly lazy with school and incredibly uninspired when it comes to finishing this stuff. Those sound like excuses because they are, but they double as my honest-to-god-answer.

But enough with the dis-pleasantries. I learned a lot. I met Anna. I grew as a human being and I did it all while traveling the world playing SCBW and taking a couple months off to do a television show. Not bad I think.

What does post-college iNcontroL look like? Probably a bit-o-time to pay off the debts accrued. Probably lots of SCBW while I search for a job. Perhaps Korea... (Let that sink in for a minute). I don't know what the future holds but I do know that I will be with SC for as long as it will have me.

anyways, I am just feeling really happy because even signing up for these last 2 classes was a death ride that came down to the wire.

Now I have something to do on Saturday.. what was it.. oh yeah, absolutely demolish the hopes and dreams of a Bulgarian. Time to get to training!

Damn Congrats man. I'm actually in the same boat as you... but not really that close to graduating... Like you, I'm not stupid or anything just lazy and uninterested, but came to realize it's pretty important to get that degree. Again, Congrats.

Did you start college right after high school? If so, you're not that late. Congrats though, it must feel great finally graduating.

If I went to korea it wouldn't be for a courage, but it would provide lots of stuff you'd probably find equally funny

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Good shit. Word of warning though, don't be down when you have trouble finding a job. Not a dig at your credentials, but you're prob aware of the state the job market is in.

Ya, finding a good job sucks. I wish I was still in school.

nah yeah I hear you loud and clear. The nice thing is I have some good insider stuff for teaching (alumni at a private school that loves me and wants to hire me) as well as opportunities to go into the gaming market through WCG, Progaming or something of those sorts.

The way I look at it: I will test the gaming market after college because it is far more appropriate to chase a dream then as oppose to waiting until I am established in my career to have a mid-life crisis and attempt something far less likely to happen at that age.

But yes, the overall economy at the moment is trash and I do understand that the expectations people had 10 years ago of post-college work is a bit different these days.

A teaching job would actually be perfect for you I think, and allow ample free time to travel/play BW, at least for another few years. Good luck with that.

Soooo true. I've been out of college for a year and a half and it has been rough at times searching for a suitable job. I have also been considering just jumping off to Korea to teach. It would surely be an experience but I'm not sure how rewarding since I'm not exactly looking to become a teacher. Still, better to graduate than not! Good luck in the future Inc
