So yesterday, a friend of mine showed me this sound track (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h1BqAmC1iI) that is supposed to alter my brain waves so I will start seeing weird shit such as ghosts, demons, etc..
Have any of you had experience with this and is it just some sort of placebo? There seems to be a bunch of videos on people's "responses" to this. People have commented saying "Its the scariest thing ever".
P.S. Im too much of a pussy to try it =P.

It is remotely possible to cause effects on your brainwaves such as causing dellusions, but I'm quite sure that if you hadn't been told that it would induce visions of demons and such, then it wouldn't cause these visions to arise, but rather some other effects on your brain. A certain song which was composed by Mozart which was listed as KV 448 has some interesting effects on the brain, which "supposedly" give you a temporary boost of I.Q. I reccomend you give that try before this to see if any significant results manifest. Personally I don't feel any smarter after listening to the song, but I may not be able to notice it. Either way, watch the Gate of Hades video without expecting anything to happen, then chances are it wont.
Ironically enough later tonight I'm going to a Lan party at my friend's house, and this house is notoriously known as being haunted, so I'm going to avoid watching this video until afterwards . I crashed on the couch their once and I woke up at 4am to hear someone slowly walking down the stairs, but the thing is the stairs were about 6 feet away from me, and I didn't see anyone. Sorry for the random tangent, I just drank a cup of cuban coffee and I can't stop typing. Here's that Mozart song:
"Winning shows us how hard we've trained, losing shows us we need to train harder."

After listening to about four and a half minutes of it, I started to feel REALLY sick and turned it off, at which point the nausea just went away. I don't know whether I should attribute this to the video, or to the fact that I am hungover like nobody's business.
Trying something called iDoser after researching this Gate of Hades thing a bit. Seems a bit scammy to me. They give you two 'free aural drugs' and then you pay for anything else.
I guess Gate of Hades originated as a .drg for Idoser then someone made it into an mp3.
seriously next disrespectful comment in this blog is ip ban. Be happy or get the hell out. // SC2 is like playing with neutral-colored Play-Doh while BW is like colorful Legos.

"Binaural brainwaves are created by a small difference in frequenty between the sound in your left ear and the sound in your right ear. E.g: your left ear receives a 500 Hertz frequenty and your right ear receives a 510 Hertz frequenty. This way there will be a 10 hertz subtone, which u can't hear (we can only hear sounds between 20 and 20.000 Hertz). This subtone somehow makes your body produce chemicals similar to those created when drugs are used. This way you can feel a feeling similar to the feeling you get when you use the actual drug."
BTW: Instructions for best effect: - Use a stereo headset. - Make your room as dark as possible. - Lay down and close your eyes. - Have patience, the effects may take some time to kick in or may even not come at all (some people are 'imune' to this kind of effects.
1.) my tinnitus on the right is too loud, had to increase the volume 2.) my tinnitus on the left seems to have the same frequenty 3.) stopped because my hangover-headache increases from so much noise and because it gets really boring really fast...

I just played this for 1:02. My roommate is a music major who plays a lot of jazz and he had other music on, but as soon as it came on he went "what is that?" and I didn't tell him. I wanted to see what he would do.
10 seconds he goes "what is that? turn that off" 25ish "seriously thats creeping the shit out of me. turn that off." 45ish he stopped playing wow altogether and just turned and looked @ me "turn that off. seriously" asks me what it is some more and keeps telling me to turn it off 1:00 he stands up "I'm leaving the room. I can't take this anymore" so i shut it off. still havent told him what it is
then he starts going "my head hurts." he has a headache now
maybe 2 mins later as im typing this he said "that headache is just starting to go away"
