the secret was to get to around level 15-17 when they had all the free bonus item things lol. after that it's a lot of grinding. |

i've only played for 5 hours so i'm only level 10 but i'm getting there.
if you play at high levels, is it necessary to t-spin or can you do it with tetrises?
I never bothered to learn how to get good at t-spinning, although i'm pretty fast |

T-spinning invariably leads to mistakes, and one mistake messes you up.
If you have ever watched any of Blink's games, he basically T-spin/Tetrises, which means he T-spins whenever he gets the chance, but keeps downstacking with Tetrises and combos.
Wow this is making me want to play Arena, especially since I can abuse the DAS system now. Boosted Ultra score from 67k to 72k, so overpowered. |

i probably tspin 2-4 times per game and each game lasts from 1-2min on average.
the vast majority of my lines sent are done by tetris and combos though.
tspins really help because they can really help cancel a lot of the incoming garbage meter since they are worth more than a tetris. |
