It's easy to remember 10 games, either from good plays, or from nooby plays. This is the latter. Here are 10 results from my early days on iCCup. When I made the switch from only campaign to iCCup, the first map I learned (thanks, TL replays) was Python. The 10 games (chronological order, or as close as I can get) went something like this:
Game 1: Protoss vs Protoss My very first game turned to me proxying my own base. I didn't know what a proxy gate was at the time, and this is the result.
Game 2: Protoss vs Zerg I like cross positions because it allows me more time to set up a piss-poor defense. I learned something from that game: Stasis and Recall both have to be researched. Also, don't EVER go Mass Arbiters.
Game 3: Zerg vs Terran Switched to Zergies. 4 pool.
Game 4: Zerg vs Protoss 4 pool.
Game 5: Zerg vs Protoss 4 pool.
Game 6: Zerg vs Zerg I realized that 4 pool didn't work with 200 mineral Spawning pools. I went 12 hatch. And lost to 4 pool.
Game 7: Terran/Zerg vs Terran/Zerg My ally went mutalisks to fuck the shit out of a base with literally no anti-air tech (Sunkens and 'Lings). The Terran raped me with Science Vessels because I forgot my missile turrets. Then I got my Comm Center infested by a player that had 1 queen and 2 drones and 1 Lair. And nothing else.
Game 8: Protoss vs Zerg I did Bisu Build on the Zerg, who simultaneously attacked me with 12310293709126509 zerglings. Guess who won?
Game 9: Protoss vs Terran I used an Arbiter correctly, but forgot to use the rest of my army correctly.
Game 10: Protoss vs Zerg I won my first game with 1 base carriers.
Note: I do remember my first two games. My first was a PvP on Outsider, I was at 12, and I still have not found out where he was. My second was a T/TvsT/T on Python, but it was too brief for me to be retarded. I told him I was noob, he told me to make Bunkers, and drew in 62 seconds when he GG'ed and I gave up.
Ironically, combat-ex is the reason I don't play like this anymore.Last edit: 2010-05-06 05:13:23

What does it mean to use arbiters correctly without using them as support with the rest of your units? They are support units by their very nature, so not sure what you mean by this.

How does a Protoss go 4-pool? Game 7 sounds hilarious although I'm not sure how you lose to science vessels as Terran. I guess you went bio? |

I went for an FE but got contained by a hyrdralurk army in the midgame. I just cannoned up and made 2 stargates pumping carriers. I got about 8 and made him retreat, but I already got his den by the time he realized what I was doing. |
