Hi all, after having finished my last finals for this semester its time for the (summer) hols. Amongst other possible projects I would want to do something SC related i.e. making an homage video to SC:BW
With the advent (and announcement) of SC2 release, perhaps the swan song of SC:BW will be sung in the next month or so, but I would like, if it be end of BW, it to go in a blaze of glory instead of silent demise.
Long story short, I would like to make an homage video about the history of SC:BW, most of it can be mishmashed from existing videos, others could be kindly suggested by the HUGE TL readership. A short outline follows:
History of SC:
Brief list of patches
Funny bugs in old versions
Competitve SC:
SC in WCG
SC in Korea
History of progamers (correct if wrong):
Four Kings: Boxer Yellow Reach Kingdom
Bonjwas: (B) Nada, Oov, Savior
Neo-Four Kings (not sure)
Today's 4 Kings: Flash, Bisu, Stork, JD
Development of Matchups:
Marine micro + Bunker rush
Reaver+shuttle
SK Terran
Tornado terran
FE/Macro revolution
Defiler play
Muta micro
Sair+DT
Crazy Zerg style
Flash build
Other memorable moments:
July's golden mouse run
Stork winning Gold
Boxer vs Oov OSL
Skyhigh reverse AKing Oz
Bisu 3-0'ing Savior
Race Wars/ Heritage invitational
Progamer betting fiasco
Tossgirl beating Reach etc.
This can be as ambitious or as simple as the people and resources available, although it was originally formulated as a solo project with a one liner question of:
"What program and how do you use (it) to splitscreen 2 or 4 video clips into one video?"

Sony Vegas is good for Windows, Final Cut Pro for Mac. After Effects is amazing for special effects too.

Well perhaps to start off, if anyone finds something worth adding into the above compilation of clips including parts of your favourite televised game or music to go with certain parts it'll be greatly appreciated if you cut then and youtube/send them to me

You should take a SC history lesson from someone who's been around for a while before you start anything like this.
