TvT. opponent goes random. I try to go standard 1-1-1.

Was it a micro mistake on my part? He sends his first marauder, kills my wall, and I'm screwed. Wtf did I do wrong? How the hell can I recover from this?

It was a 1v1 on a 4 player map, I think Kulas Ravine. I went the standard BO, and he did the same. But I lost...

The replay you posted was on Steppes.

Anyway, you were simply slower than he was because you decided to wall, and you took your second gas before your fac. That allowed him to simply be faster and pressure you to death, because you also decided not to try to repair your wall or make an emergency bunker somewhere in your main.

It's not so much speed as inefficiency. Don't wall, and take your second gas after your factory.
