A good friend of mine set up webalizer on my website (he runs the IT department of the company that the server is sitting in). Webalizer parses all of the raw stats from the log files that the website generates, and I found out that in October alone, I have 7250 unique visitors alone, and Teamliquid makes up for more than 30% of my traffic! <3 Teamliquid

Amongst the top hits from search engines are "prodigsc.com," "iccup starchild," and "iccup enigma"
The image for Enigma has six thousand hits O_O

Anyway, I just wanted to brag. Stats are super cool~

I personally use google analytics. Its amazing what it can draw, day by day breakdown, user locations.

Of course they each have their own advantages. But it's google! </fanboyism>
Once is an accident. Twice is coincidence. Three times is an enemy action. Bus Driver can never target themselves I'm sorry

I ahve google analytics installed as well and it tells me that my site has only been viewed 900 times, so i was all sad that my numbers were tiny and boring

Webalizer spits out bigger numbers and MOAR RAW STATZ so i like it more~

Well, maybe it spits bigger number because it takes care of page impression and not just unique visitors, which would make sens seeing the difference in numbers between GA and Webalizer. And hmmmmmmmmm, so far, nothing can really top GA. GA is serious business and the stats it can throw at you -_-, it'S fucking amazing.

Just throw my two cents,
Don't be too exciting about webalyzer. As you've already said, it parses server logs so when someone open your index page, it counts all the images, all the css files as different "view" so the stats are always bigger with webalyzer.
Analytics is much more accurate and is the standard of web logs, you should stick with it i guess (plus analytics got way more functionalities).

Aww... Sorry but it seems like your site only has 900 views not 7,000 or whatever.

7250 unique IP addresses would say otherwise...
