I personally use google analytics. Its amazing what it can draw, day by day breakdown, user locations.

I ahve google analytics installed as well and it tells me that my site has only been viewed 900 times, so i was all sad that my numbers were tiny and boring 
Webalizer spits out bigger numbers and MOAR RAW STATZ so i like it more~ |

| Well, maybe it spits bigger number because it takes care of page impression and not just unique visitors, which would make sens seeing the difference in numbers between GA and Webalizer. And hmmmmmmmmm, so far, nothing can really top GA. GA is serious business and the stats it can throw at you -_-, it'S fucking amazing. |

Just throw my two cents, Don't be too exciting about webalyzer. As you've already said, it parses server logs so when someone open your index page, it counts all the images, all the css files as different "view" so the stats are always bigger with webalyzer. Analytics is much more accurate and is the standard of web logs, you should stick with it i guess (plus analytics got way more functionalities).
