Right now I feel like it's the calm before the storm. After getting through all of the necessary studying, the last few day's I've tried to make time pass quickly with much SC2, music and movies.
On Tuesday of next week I have an immensely important interview, for the church, in which all of the church work I have done in the last 10-11 months will be taken into account and judged by an external assessor. On Wednesday I have my philosophy exam followed by my theology exam on the Thursday.
In short this week is going to determine if I get into the theology course I want to start this September and it will also determine if I am able to at least progress into becoming a minister of the church.
I just want it to begin now, to get it over with and to have the verdicts given that I may be certain at least in part about the future and what it will bring. It's been like a perpetual job interview for the last 10-11 months and to drop at this hurdle will be disappointing.
Regardless I have grown in confidence and ability not only with regard to public speaking but dealing with people. It has been valuable and will do me well in the year's to come no matter what I end up doing.
So over the next few weeks my entire plan for the next 5 years+ could change. Or indeed all could go as planned without anything being altered. I'm not even that nervous about it, I just want it finished. A verdict, something concrete.
As a side-note I leave for Zambia next month, which will no doubt allow me time to get my mind clear about all that has happened and all that may happen as a result of this process. I will be doing church work in between university terms on a voluntary basis. Regardless of what happens back here, I'm looking forward to it and you never know Africa may be the future I'm called to, rather than a parish here in the UK.
As for the girl situation that some of you may remember from my previous post's. It remains unresolved, but I'm happy to wait till I get back from Africa to see how things will work out. My hope remains intact and should anything go extremely well then TL.Net no doubt will be the first to hear of it.
In the SC2 front, I've been playing really well thanks to Day9's how to win 90% with Terran daily. Banshee's own protoss
Thanks for reading I've managed to get rid of 30min off the waiting period by writing this.
