I love lucky days

So I've been losing like a mofo in the game we call StarCraft 2. I went 3-11 the other day. It was bad. I almost did a lot of things because of it. I was just playing poorly. It was getting to a point that I was seriously considering moving on with my life and being absolutely done with SC2. I was considering WoW again, even. That game ruins my life.

I think it started because I was playing sitting up. Yes, sitting up. With a real keyboard that goes clack-clack. You see, I play lying down in my bed with my laptop. It's pretty comfy. I use a hardback copy of "Your Favorite Seuss" to put my mouse pad on. It's the way I've always done it, pretty much.

Like I said. Once I started sitting up, things went down hill. I started playing diamonds again.

It was terrible! So I thought, "Meh, I'm gonna lie back down and game like that. I won't be tempted to break this here chair I'm sitting on." So that's what I did.

And I've gone 9-4 today! Hallelujah! It can't all be credited to me, though. I've had some lucky shizniff happen. I 7 pool on Typhon because my keyboard's alt key is stuck down, so I can't use any keys. He happens to be Forge FE'ing (on Typhon, who does that?) and insta-gg's when he sees the lings! I sill have hope with this game!

Next I go for a 10 pool on Xel'Naga (ZvZ). I don't 10 pool, so I dunno what the heck I'm going. I just figured I'd get a quick 2nd queen, pressure him a bit, and rush brofestors. Well, it just so happens he 6 pooled me. Insta-win! I'll have you know, I don't win ZvZs. I'm downright awful at them.

Another game. I FE, into 16 gas for speedlings. Looks like he's doing the exact same thing. But, he puts guys back on gas! Hmm. I'll go for roaches, to be safe. Then I get a feeling. Pump lings. Nothing but. "Okay, I guess I will, you know best, Mr. Dude in my Head!" Just so happens, he was doing the same exact thing. I checked the replay, we both had 18 drones each. The guys on gas were just a fake! Sneaky sneaky, Zerg broski. He attacks, tries to run up my ramp, I trap him with my lings, but I have a secret weapon: Spine crawler, boo ya! He's taking potshots from my spine, my lings are doing their thang, and boom. I counterattack and win. HEADSHOT!

Then, just now. I scout he's going for hellions. Oh crap, I only have two queens. My micro is pretty amazing (sarcasm) and I lose about 12 drones. Normally, with myself being a macro player, I'd just straight up make drones and see if I can do the macro thingy, but I decide to bane bust, because I think I'm pretty far behind. He follows his attack up with a marine/hellion/siege tank all-in, and since I've been pumping lings/banes (and compounded with the fact he wasn't too great) I whin!

Ah, such a good day. Who knew my sitting position determined my luck! Happy happy.

Edit: Just made two buckets in the hamper, 3 point range from my bed. Left-handed. Das right.

Building things that aren't zerglings is just silly. Always remember that. You can build ultras if you want because those are basically steroidlings anyway.

Congrats on kicking your slumps ass, even if its in a strange way. =)
