Its really late but thinking about it I will today try and start an UMD CSL team.

I've had troubles finding other people who play sc2 and enjoy esports... Oh wait my RA does and another guy on my floor plays and has some sick gear.

And yet we don't have an CSL team. thinking about this we could form a club together for it. why form a club? because then we get our name on the list and can get people to join and we get some money to watch sc2 events over the year and gain people from other esports communities like the fcg and we can all watch events like that with them.

Someone from umd can post in here if you want to get in touch with me as well.

Also I'm gona try out casting to see if I'm shit or not. I'm gona use fraps anyone know of a better one for newbies that I could try before buying xsplit?

Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder is what I use to stream and make VoDs. It's convenient and lets you specify input video, audio, etc.

I saw that but it looks a little more then what I want to put into while I test out this whole business. fraps is so crazy user friendly that I think I'm over doing it even. quality probably isn't there but I wouldn't post stuff a youtube unless its got good video and audio quality.

Ah yeah Adobe FMLE isn't the MOST user friendly but it lets you stream while saving to a file, and it's fairly customizable (and it's free) which is why I use it. I think there's a guide to it here on TL somewhere.
