Hello, my handle name is MysteryMeat, Ive had this ever I started playing BroodWar. Much to my regret I only faintly new that ICCup existed and so I was stuck 4 pooling on fastest map possible. It still worked  . Or I was busy playing phantom or the newest Heroes and Might and Magic. Throughout this process I learned about hotkeys, simple micro tricks that later greatly benefited me as I started playing SC2 at the beginning of season 1. Placed into bronze and now a year later hover in the middle of masters league. Rank 50 lol.
Anyway, more about myself. I am a Senior in Highschool in Washington state. One of the requirements is that you have to do a senior project. This project can be anything as lame as growing a beard (yes I know) or as cool as building a catapult and launching fruit 300 yards at Magnuson Park. My Senior project is MIT, named after the school (duh), but it stands for Man In Training. This project was started by my parents somewhere in the summer of 6th grade where I learn how to do MANLY things. This pretty much meant that my parents told me to take out the trash for MIT. For my Senior Project we have to share our experiences, so I decided that since the fine folks of TL (shameless suck up) are so good with giving advice on other peoples problems, they could listen to mine.
For my MIT, which progressed over the summer and winter of 2011, still in progress though, had a different tone. For my basics of MIT, I decided to learn household fixes that would benefit me later on in life. Over the course of MIT, I learned how to do a basic tuneup, such as changing tires, and changing the oil, gas filter, and jacking up a car. Other things included removing a sink, and cleaning it when it was clogged up, replacing/repairing a 2nd floor deck, Plunging a toilet (I was desperate), and powerwashing the fence.
If you guys have any suggestions for what Manly thing I should do next, please comment.
If you guys have any questions on SC2 I will try to answer, but I’m only mid-masters protoss player so it will not be 100% accurate.
The next installments will document my individual jobs with pictures.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I think i will make a "battle report" of plunging the toilet. Maybe a real life one and a sc2 one. Thinking along the lines of baneling bust or archon toilet. |
