Hello fellow TL'ers. Originally, I intended my blog to be a sort of a weekly diary as I was approaching my favorite tournament, the biggest czech/slovak LAN - Lancraft. As you may recall, I uploaded a few replay packs and everything was going smoothly. However, a few weeks down the road, stuck between loads of schoolwork and very strong determination to practice my heart out, I realised that even the little time spent preparing a replay pack and writing a blog could be spent practicing. Jokingly, I said to my friends that I will do PR when I win the damn tournament (although, I was thinking I was poorly prepared and had almost no chance to do well).
Then the last weekend in April rolled along and somehow I managed to surpass my original goal of getting top 8 - and well, I won the damn tournament . My first bigger tournament victory (worth approximately 400 euros of prizes ) finally came after two years of playing Starcraft 2. However, due to school, I was not really able to continue playing after Lancraft. That has, however, changed. School is over and I'm back, kicking and screaming. I managed to barely squeeze into the top 100 GM in Europe at the end of the season and spent most of my time during the last three weeks practicing, averaging around 30 games/day.
So with my skill level going up again - and another Lancraft approaching mid-July, I decided to at least try to start blogging and uploading replays (semi-)regularly. Right now, I have exactly three months of summer break ahead of me and then my university studies start. Until then, I want to become as good of a player as I can be and hopefully attend some foreign LANs...And of course, do everything in my powers to keep the title of Lancraft champion.
In my first replay pack, I included some practice games from sessions with Protosser and Harstem, as they were preparing for Dreamhack Summer, as well as ladder games and a nice game vs. Merz from the first EU TSL4 Qualifier. I hope you'll enjoy the game - and I will appreciate all feedback! Also, big thanks to Eizo, Thermaltake and all the other sponsors of team eXtatus for making all of this possible!

I'm a Protoss player...I didn't really feel the need to mention it again, it's in the blog title and all the previous blogs |
