A lot of people tend to cast other peoples games, either as a straight caster or just to figure out information, they also do guides of stuff they have done. I wonder, if one were to cast their own games, with thoughts about what they were doing as they did it, and then an overview of what they feel was done wrong.
Now this is an interesting idea to me, because it's not like reviewing to yourself, but it gives the opportunity for input. Additionally, you can use it to display development in the player from, for example, I review my own replays when I wonder what went wrong, or when I do a good job, just to see where I can improve to make my build more stable (I am aware I am only in Silver, but that's irrelevant to this concept).
Does anyone currently do this into something achievable, like a YouTube channel? If not, it's something I may try, or anyone else can realistically try if they were so inclined.
Just an idea, feedback and ideas towards it are greatly welcomed. <3

Thank you guys for posting that information for me. It's nice to know this is viable. I was considering it last night to cover myself from high silver to at least Platinum and probably into Diamond, then changing my game up on my "Quest to Masters" and instead of just mentioning changes that should be made, and going over things for people, and just builds in general, depending on fan base (if any). I have ideas for this, I want to try and just gain a small fan base, and then go from there. I would also probably post games that I found funny as well, so it won't be totally serious, thing is I will have to avoid going into the style of the LAGTV stuff.
Suggestions are always welcome. <3 I want to take some solid time and see just how much effort goes into what the casters and highly viewed players have to go through to get popular, and how hard it is.Last edit: 2012-06-21 02:39:54

I kinda think about casting my own games in my head when I'm playing, just to think about obvious mistakes I'm making.
On another thought though, it would be cool if you got two pros to cast a game that they played against each other. |

I'm actually planning on bringing back my youtube channel very soon with focused/refined commentaries on games I play.
I used to do this for broodwar and haven't had the capability to do so for sc2 yet until recently. It's really fun and not only lets you as the commentator explore your play more in depth it hopefully helps others improve at the game as well. |

Yes I have, but I mean like a YouTube channel or something similar. Kinda like what Day[9] does but on a much smaller scale, like small game analysis. Not 1 hour, but like 10-15 minutes roughly depending on game length. |
