I have hinted at wanting to break up with her in a few of my posts, not sure if anyone noticed/cared. But anyways I finally did it after a few weeks of on and off crap. The reason why was just I honestly just lost interest, shes got a year left of school and I’m out of school and working. I hate her family with a passion, she lives 2 hours away now and I work 8-5, she also works EVERY DAY except Fridays her sisters a manager at Dominos and so she works till midnight every night helping her sister.
I started getting really annoyed and even angry whenever she would call me and I was doing something, in general when I started just getting annoyed at any affection shown. I barely ever said anything but I was mostly mad at myself for not wanting someone who was such a good girlfriend.
It was really dragged out for a few weeks and admittedly painful, which was my own fault of breaking up with her and feeling so fucking terrible that I thought I still wanted to be with her because I was feeling like shit when in fact I was just feeling like shit because I broke her heart.
She texts and calls me a lot, I’m not exactly sure what to do and if I should answer. I’m fine when I’m without her but talking to her and hearing her sad make me feel fucking terrible. Her friends are saying I used her for sex, which I reply with “fuck off slut, 16 months of dating someone for sex?” Not sure what to do how to treat everything as this is my first serious break up. But things just changed, my biggest turning point as actually noticing girls again, usually I wouldn’t give a crap but I started looking at girls differently again.
I feel pretty terrible in the fact I took her virginity but I go by the basis we were never going to be together forever anyways. There’s this one chick I’m actually interested in which was a weird feeling because I was mad at myself for not so much feeling for a girl but wanting to slam her >.< But in actual fact my feelings for my current girlfriend have been dead for a while.
This other chick is alright, just one of them chicks you just attracted to for no reason. One of my mates who is a quiet dude that barely speaks really likes her, he’s a year older then me (19) never even kissed a girl. This is probably the first girl he’s actively sought after. She has no interest in him whatsoever (all of us have tried to get them together). I’m not that great of friends with him as said he barely speaks so its hard to befriend him and I’m the guy that’s energy/persona is based off the energy in the room and so if I’m with this quiet dude I’m basically quiet to because I have nothing to go off.
One instance we were out drinking and shes all like “you smell nice” and imp like “thanks dude, cost me fair bit so I better” we were walking from a pub to a different pub and it was fucking cold and she was like “hug me” and at this point I was on and off with said girlfriend so I was very iffy on wether to do it or not. But the drunk in me told me it was just a hug and I gave it a go and then she was like “Oh we should stop Corey will get jealous” (Corey’s the dude that likes her) and I was like “Just do him already or tell him you don’t like him” and she was like “nah I’m a nice person” she said more stuff but I don’t remember I think I stopped listening because I was focusing on trying to moon walk.
At the end of the day I learnt a lot about myself in general. I’m told 24/7 I’m always this happy as dude, but I just think maybe my face is weird and just looks happy but I do walk around thinking about funny stuff n my head that makes me smile a crapload. But that’s not what I learnt >.< I learnt I fake a crapload of my confidence and I am in general a weird dude, but hanging around the guys I do (they all have insane confidence) I as a person feed of energy in some sort of pack mentality. But there’s a side to me that’s nice and shy, but then most of the time its over shadowed by my abilities not to give a crap about most things in life.

I feel you with the whole "energy off the people around you" part.
That isn't unique and I'm actually pretty much like that. I highly suggest that you pick your friends/girlfriends carefully and go for people with good character and general bad ass personalities. You won't regret it. |

Yeah dude deadset agree. Shes a massive flirt to so this guys never had that kind of attention so he thinks hes all special but in reality shes just a flirt. I would actually try to do something with her just minus the fact I feel really bad for my ex and decided against doing anything with anyone for a while. |

Yeah she's not a 'nice person' as she puts it. Any decent person would be straight with him. Just another passive aggressive who enjoys the attention of a guy she's not interested in. I would advise caution against a relationship with her, potential drama ahead.
As for your ex, don't feel bad you took her virginity, someone was going to take it anyway. If you're bothered with her texting/calling just straight up tell her that you don't want her to contact you anymore. Blacklist number if necessary. Its okay to feel terrible, but don't let it consume you or force you into getting back with her. You'll get over it eventually.
