To celebrate the end of an era the DC community did something that its very good at doing, we came together to celebrate. We have our LANs and our dinners, our mafia parties, and we also had our OSL party. Our original intentions were to join together and worship Fantasy's handsomeness at Luckyfool's brand new bachelor pad, however he received the unfortunate news that he would have to work on Saturday morning and the plans were canceled. Ever-resilient, we had to come up with a plan b. So, I courageously asked my mom if I could hold the OSL party in our basement at home. Suprisingly she said yes.
We as eSports fans in America are unfortunate in that we are one timezone way from being on the exact opposite of the world from Korea. So we had to stay up till 5 am for the start of the OSL, which left us SO MUCH TIME FOR ACTIVITIES! Obviously we had a Broodwar LAN.

With plenty of Hite beer, Soju, and Cola we started the night, counting down the minutes till Fantasy and JangBi would play the last ever finals in the last ever BW OSL.
For our first game of the night we Storrzerg face off against Sadistx, in the iconic Starcraft Battle of Zerg vs Terran.

After the first game is right about when CaucasianAsian and Anfield got back from their McDonalds run. With them they brought, 15 McDoubles, 10 McChickens, 10 4 piece nuggets, and 5 small fries.

And yes, I am mixing ketchup and mayo, and yes it is a very European thing to do, yes I was flamed for it, and yes I was born here.

For our next game we had the already infamous, Anfield vs Storrzerg game. Anfield in his second ever Broodwar game going up against the long time TL member and BW veteran Storr. As we watched Anfield play we couldn't help but feel the need to troll.
"Anfield you need to get warpgate gate at the cyber core!"
"There is no warp gate shut up!"

"Anfield WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU NEED TO GET GOON SPEED"
"What where do I get goon speed at?"
"At the cyber core dude, at the cyber core!"
"OKOK guys I'm getting it, I'm on it!"
Thus Anfield will forever be flamed for researching goon speed.

We played some pool too, although none of us were even close to being good at it.

In the end Fantasy fell leaving Sadistx and I hearbroken, and the rest of the bunch cheering on their favorite JangBi. We saw the last OSL finals, ate our burgers, played our game, trolled our Anfield and said our good byes to the game that inspired our friendship, and the match that we will never forget.

how was goon speed? :3 if only there was an upgrade that removed stupidity from goons too  |
