| Btw hazelynut, I think your poem has real sparks of originality. I liked the synesthesia: the association between summer and the colour orange. It's a common union perhaps, but I liked how you ambivalently you treat it. Orange is at once the colour of the sun in full force, and also the colour of overripe fruit. A life lived in decadent abandon, perhaps. |

Bringing with it something sincere

Warm days, summer suns,
