Last weekend I went to BATLL X. IT was the first event that I was able to attend in fiull, and it really was an excellent event.
I took BART there. On BART I got a call I might need to leave early, but it turned out I didn't, so I replaced Dayal in groups stages.
I learned, bring your own equipment to LANS. Managed to walk into storm colossus, then died to double warp prism all in  (it was creative, I'll give him that)
Anyways, got third in the consolation tournament, after some non-inspiring games.
What was really great was all the people that I've somewhat known online, but got to meet in person, as well as some people who knew who I was, and I had no idea who they were. Darren Chen from Irvine/CSL was there, cool guy. TOP was there, cool guy. All in all, just a lot of awesome people.
There were a few lag issues, but all in all the experience was good.
Notable moments: Suppy beating gold player while eating mcchicken with keyboard hand, and the finals featuring a DT rush, where the DTrushing player forgot their shrine

Even when a LAN has computers on hand (such as anything happening at Eudo) you typically want to bring at least your own mouse, probably your own keyboard too, and maybe your own headphones. The mouse is big because of mouse accuracy and sensitivity you're used to. I personally use a pretty cheap keyboard, but I have trouble using other ones quite as well.
