Micro here I come!

End of day feelings: Pretty Happy
Things focused on: Protoss step 3 (The Staircase)
Completion of Focus: Completed step 3
End of Day Placement: Silver (MMR is doing weird things but probably about 150)

Yeah, I said 150. My MMR tool for SC2 gears finally got a couple more "good games" and said that I actually dropped a lot lower than it did earlier. Oh how I wish that Blizz would just tell us our MMR, that would make things SO much easier.

I haven't updated this lately because I haven't been playing a whole lot lately. The other night I played 4 or 5 games against the AI working on trying to get my macro back together as it has been not so great since I got to step 3. There were times it was okay but during those times I would either start getting supply blocked or I would forget my chrono boost and my energy would max. So I played some games against the medium and then the hard AI working on getting my macro up to snuff.

Today I did the same at first and then played a few games on the ladder. I managed to macro pretty well (just barely over 80 SQ) but they were passes and I can now move on to step 4. Which is zealots and stalkers WITH micro.

Here are a few things I want to work on while on step 4.

1) Scouting. I want to send out and control my scouting probe to get a good idea of what's in his base and then put it to where I can see when he expands. Nothing fancy, but some early scouting while macroing. I want to do that now while the macro is easier.

2)Blink Stalkers: I haven't played with Blink stalkers yet because when only a-moving to the back of his base researching blink is kinda pointless. So I want to do some playing with blink.

3)4 Gate: I want to do some 4 gate play. I don't want to be the guy that 4 gates every game, but there are times when I would like to be able to bust out the 4 gate, especially since it's good practice to work on forward pylons.

tip for blink play: rebind blink to space bar

Also if you're going to 4 gate make sure you just practice the build over and over (since its easy) and hit that ~5:50 warp in time
