Well, it's been a good 7 months since I played serious broodwar. I logged onto the ladder that all of you hooligans are playing that I just found out existed, iccup. The metagame seems pretty easy so far at low levels, just fast expoing protosses and 8 rax terrans so far. Unlike a vast majority of the blogs on this site, anything in this one will be directly pertaining to actually playing broodwar, which I notice only a small minority of people on this site actually do, odd. I plan to keep a log of my replays, and I'll post the interesting ones here for your viewing pleasure, and hopefully I can get some reader feedback about my game. I'll include the replay+ a brief dissection, you can expect a batch maybe every other day for now while I'm getting back into bw shape, and later on maybe once a week. I plan also on putting on fpvods every sunday once I break into mid level games, they won't have commentary. Leaving for vacation in 2 days to Minnesota to visit the white side of my family, lovely stoic Norwegians they are, always a little less interesting than visiting my paternal side in Colombia. My 16 year old cousin Steven sorta drew me back into broodwar so there'll be no shortage of play when I'm over there. But for now I'll definitely be playing 15+games a day to get back into the grind of things, expect some amusing reps tomorrow or the next day, and possibly a camtasia recording.
