But I feel the need to share, I'm actually pretty excited about this... I've been trying to get a promotion at work, and just found yesterday I got it. I'll be starting on the 24th, making about 15k USD more a year than I do now. Going to be a supervisor at Comcast, that's a scary thought. ^_^

congratulations mate, there is no other feeling for an ego boost than a promotion or a pay raise, basically someone saying, "You're awesome"
I have my self pegged for a promotion which will mean extra 12-16k a year plus a car and expense account. All I am waiting for is one of the current reps to retire and boss to find a replacement for me. I'm thinking 6-8 months. |

15k raise is nice however it's not HUGE but it's quite awesome =)

15k right now is roughly half of what I make in a year anyways (so you people even remotely good at basic math should be able to figure out what I make now + what I will be making), so I consider 50% a damn good raise, and while making about 44k is not all that impressive, it's not bad considering I'm only 23.

Eh, go for it. Seriously. Anyone with any problem/issue with Comcast let me know and I'll see what I can do. If you're in MD/VA/DE, I can do just about anything for you, other areas, I'm a bit more limited but I can still give advice.
