I must be one of the few who started out on SC on the 64 and I loved it. I still remember how much fun discovering all the units and abilities was. The problem was once I played on the computer you can't play on the N64 even for fun because the fastest gamespeed on N64 is comparable to about normal or fast on the computer and it's really unbearable.

edit: In the youtube comments on first video it says only 5000 copies were made exclusively in australia? That doesn't seem right... I got one in the U.S.

You can win the campaign in the PC version with equally "sick" micro, unfortunately.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can play multiplayer split screen. At least no complaining about maphax.

When I was 15. Me and my friend would tie a sheet around our T.V. So we couldn't see each others screens. The odd time we'd play with out sound either so we couldn't tell what units the other person had. Fun times... we did that with Golden eye and Perfect dark as well. I kind of miss those old school days haha.
