Nicely written~~ I did enjoy it
However, I belive that your attitude towards this makes the world a worse place to live in.
While beeing pragmatic to a certain degree certainly makes lifer easier for everyone, on the short term. Beeing pragmatic about topics like this also makes it impossible to actually make the world a better place, I belive there must always be an utopia and we must always do our best to strive for it, otherwise everything will end with a few people feeding on eachother while spears of nuclear fire rains down upon them. One thing to note, im not slamming you for not knowing this, few americans do. USA did at a point in time legalize prostitution. VD was completely out of hand, 1/3 of all the civil war soldiers, both north and south, had some form of VD. The only solution they saw was to legalize it, and make the hookers get checked out/cured by doctors. If they had the certifricate, then they could do it, if they didnt, they were arrested, etc. It completely cured the problem and was a huge success. It was changed back after a year or so i wanna say.
I think it would be a great thing to legalize it, how many people have died b/c they have had too much sex? (not counting stds of course  ) I think it would help out alot of people. |
