1. If you want to get rid of a splinter, a good way to get rid of it is to put elmer's glue over the wound, wait for it to dry and peel it off.

2. To find a lost contact, put a panythose over a vacuum and vaccuum away.

3. After you fill up gas, turn the nozzle upside down to squeeze out a couple more ounces.

4. Closing an envelope with egg white makes it almost impossible to steam open.

5. Freezing candles beforehand will make them last longer.

I'm guessing any plasma-like glue that hardens, usually the ones sold in bottles. I honestly don't know but this is what my grandmother did when I was younger and I'm just spreading the word.

You're supposed to turn it with your nozzle still inside the car and after you let it drip for a few seconds, you turn it back and pull it out. It's pretty hard to spill actually, but if you do spill you can always tell the gas attendent that you spilled a bit of gas and they can clean it up in jiffy.

These are all the little things in life my family and others have taught me. There's much more to come once I remember them...

I had the meter jump a couple of digits when I did this once and had to pay a couple of cents in coins :|

You can get a bit more life out of dead batteries by warming them up in your armpits (or anywhere really warm.) D:
There you have it. It didn't come from the government down. There was no dictum, no declaration, no censorship, to start with, no! Technology, mass exploitation, minority pressure, carried the trick.

Ah, I'm guessing you pump then pay? It's the other way around for me. I've honestly never been to a pump and pay actually...
