I asked a few of my colleagues for reference letters for my Grad school application. I am about to head over there, and I have the materials I need, but note one of the items I received:

'Colleague', as in his high school friend. Don't worry, I pretty much made the same mistake.
After reading the letter myself I thought to myself, "no way can this be real." Once I looked again and read 'colleague' and micro's message I got it.
