uhmy dad's laptop has only a limited account (no admin account). How do i set up an admin account without reinstalling windows? I tried booting into safe mode but it doesnt work

If it's xp one old lulz way to get in is use the 2000 boot screen and type Administrator for name and no pass. If it hasn't been passworded you're in and you can change the type. Just when you get to boot screen i believe its alt+crtl+del and you get the old 2000 boot screen.

Yeah it works on older xp's But all i know is that There is always atlest 1 account that is admin xp and vista wont allow it other wise just need to find the name of it and see if it is passworded. Administrator is for xp i know and it is by default hidden.

Else i would try to find a password grabber my friend made one in my compsci class got us in trouble because we pulled all the passwords though the network and generated a txt file with it to check what people passwords where the teacher saw it, one of the passwords was "niggaplease" that ruined the week...

Don't ask me how to do it has was a 4 year student lol so he knows alot more.
