| I think that sony is trying to raise the awareness around the psp, and get people to purchase it so that they can then use the synergy between the psp and the ps3 to sell more of both. That way they can get a foothold into the living room, and extend it so that they can attempt to be as dominant in consumer electronics as microsoft is in software. |

| I really don't understand why sony are pushing the PSP + PS3 stuff - the GC + GBA connectivity was absolutely amazing in every way and it flopped, HARD. People just aren't willing to shell out for so much hardware, and the PS3 + PSP cost WAY more combined than GC and GBA. |

| I think what sony wants to prove here is the fact that Both of their hardware have so many features and when they work together you can have the ultimate gaming experience. Just look at those PSP big updates such as skype, chatting, PSN store will now be directly accessible, and TV output and what knows what might come. They are pretty much saying, we are going to hand you the ultimate gaming package. |
