Control panel > Regional Options > Standards and formats: Korean
It will change other things to Korean though. I can't remember everything it changed, but something annoyed me enough that I changed it back. I'm used to the Won for backslash though, so I leave non-unicode language as Korean. You can still type on bnet, it will just display it for you as ASCII gibberish if you don't set standards and formats to Korean. I'm used to it though, so I recognize things like "hi", "go", "GG", etc. If you type in Korean based on location, as opposed to looking down at the keys, it's not much of a problem if you just want to do the occasional "go" or "race?" or whatever when talking to a Korean.
EDIT: Now I remember, I changed it back because it displays all websites using the Korean font set. This makes any bulletin board site really ugly. I messed with all the settings, and the only thing I could figure out to do was to manually change it to the font I wanted every time I visited the website (several times a day). I wasn't willing to do that so I changed it back to US.
If anyone knows how to use the US font set with Korean as your format, or to change the Korean font set to use the same fonts as the US format, please tell me. It was nice being able to read debriefings and in-game text in Korean. Last edit: 2008-10-23 16:52:13 |
