I was intrigued by D2 PvP talk so I decided to log on and make a new character and I got this wonderful message.

Does this mean all my godly gear is gone or just my CD-key is dead? I bought my CD-key, does that have anything to do with this?

| Blizz banned anyone who used 3rd party add ons, doesn't matter if they were hacks or just chat programs etc... my WC3 got disabled too.. |

you even have and 'Addons' button in WoW (on the character selection screen)

Actually couldn't you try logging onto the account through Starcraft? It wouldn't tell you if the characters are still there, but it'll tell you if the account is banned or not. |

Well WoW addons are ... legalized by Blizzard, they try to integrate it into the game as much as possible.

That's why it is BS. Blizz got greedy, trying to make more and more people to play WOW, thus encouraging using add ons is one way of doing it. While banning SC and WC3 regardless of reason is trying to get people to buy the game again and again thus helping them make more money. Blizz has changed from a great company into a greedy company, milking money from people in every possible way.... |

SC and D2 were the same accounts, I used Chaoslauncher for Chaosplugin + LAN latency.
D2 I just used D2Loader.
Least my third account wasn't closed, I can start a Sorceress if I need to :T |

Addons are an amazing way to customize your WoW interface the way you like it, plus it's a way for creative people to share their amazing ideas, which later might be included into WoW default interface thus improving playing experience for everyone.
Using 3rd party program is illegal (no matter what it is), so you use it at your own risk. I don't see you complaining about banned hackers and Blizzard doing best job against them out there. Furthermore, your "pulled out of my ass" theory about SC and WC3 bans to get more profit is laughable. You could be right if you thought that they make more money by banning hackers thus caring more about gaming environment for its customers and so attracting more of them, but you're just ignorant kid. |

lol you are just being naive, why don't you think about this in detail and consider all aspects of this banning action. Sure it gets rid of hackers, further more, people who got wrongful banned and as well as hackers have to buy the game again to play. In the end more money for blizz. You have no brain for deep thinking, if you ever get into politics, you will get fucking owned, period. Your thought merely reflects surface meaning of an action, you need to thinking deeper, think all possible reasons.
