I think i just got better at SC :E

Beacuse i just won a long TvP on iccup, that has seriously never happend to me before.. I'm D rank atm and so is my skill-level, most games i win are usually from 2fact pushes or 2rax sunken breaks, so to finally win a long macro game was pretty damn satisfying.

He kept recalling my main and causing all kind of havoc with DTs and zealots but i managed to keep my cool, denying his expansions and finally go for a contain on his natural.
But i guess if i would have had better macro and unit control it'd be over quicker

I guess thats my biggest problem, i prefer playing the "fun" part of the game, ie microing and playing "fast" to immitate gosus rather than actually macroing well and having good unit control etc.

On a different note, im thinking about posting FPvods rather than replays to get advice from you guys, would that work or are replays better?

In FPVODS you'll get to see exactly what im doing wrong and what to improve on rather than general guidelines that you only can offer from watching replays. Obviously i'd only post fpvods of games that i lose and that are somewhat entertaining to watch ^^

It'd be like fpvodblog where i record my process/failure on iccup.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT

Grats to you. FPVODS are alot bigger than reps, so I think that might drive ppl away. They have their advantages too ofc.

^ I'd obviously post them on youtube so it would actually more comfortable to watch the fpvod with just one click away rather than having to DL the replay and then start up SC to watch it.

Replays can be dissected a lot quicker and are probably better for posting to a general audience. FPVods are helpful but you need to find someone who is willing to go through a few and actually watch them. Wouldn't hurt to make a few and see what the response is, though.

the problem with fpvods on youtube is they don't go on 4x speed
the problem with fpvods that you download as people need to be willing to download them

Anyone who actually wants to help will watch an FPVOD, you can spot a whole different genre of mistakes in FPVODs and its MUCH better than a replay

I have that some times, and then I check the replay and find out the guy had a 45 APM and 4 gateways all game. But at times where you are pretty evenly matched and you do pull of a macro monster game, that's always good, very satisfying Congrats man!
