Is this one of those crazy conspiracy theories or is there actually some reason he would want to hide his identity?
Like maybe he's afraid the secret service will track him for writing a story about a mass murderer.
Or he's hugely unpopular with the target audience because he has a big nose.

| In terms of it actually getting written out it might even look like Oba, though the Japanese have taken a liking of using h to denote the long o, and stop putting the Western order of first/last names in everything. |

| Gamou Hiroshi had always written comedy stuff he the rationale is that he couldnt use his actual pen name to write a very serious and brainy series and have the audience take it seriously. |

| I should clarify further than his brand of comedy was along the lines of really stupid / outrageous stuff, saying "completely opposite of death note" doesn't even do it justice. |

| anagrams don't make sense when one goes from Asian to Romantic languages since each "character" in Asian languages become syllables and not individual letters, which can't really be rearranged the way it is in English |
