Has anyone ever told you you sound like a porn director sometimes in your videos? :D

PPS: If the computer is networked to a ton of other computers, it might be a program that's installed on the system or something...you're computer is basically just "window" into this system it's hooked up to. You'd have to log into, or go on to some sort of master computer/administrator log-in to remove it.
PPPS: I don't really know what I'm talking about in the "PPS".

Isn't there a No Acceleration for setpoint? I'm using the mx518 btw.
the acceleration might be because of the windows os which naturally comes with acceleration.
edit: you have to change the reg file in the windows os to fix the acceleration. I'm having trouble finding the file to change it. But you have to change it to this.

I know this is going to be/sound stupid... but Enhance Pointer Precision is off... right? ^_^
Other than that my only suggestion is CPL Mouse Fix which is linked above

CPL mousefix compensates Windows acceleration, so it doesn't remove it. It only adds something like counter-acceleration to your OS. accelfix is said to remove Windows acceleration completely, so it should be better. Personally, I prefer accelfix to CPL mousefix

even when you turn off enhance pointer precision there always some accel left also, most mouse drivers like the razer and logitech drivers dont remove mouse acceleration completely they just disable the enhance pointer precision thats why you have you use Accelfix or CPL mousefixLast edit: 2009-01-12 01:08:11 |

Can someone explain to me how mouse acceleration works/how it should be for SC?
I'm using a razer lachesis with enhance pointer precision checked on in windows
is that correct or is it just a preference? |

I play with it off but it is 100% preference although I'm sure someone will try to argue otherwise
It works by increasing the pointer speed/distance relative to how fast you are moving your mouse whereas without accel moving your mouse fast or slow over the same distance will result in the same distance the pointer moves on screenLast edit: 2009-01-12 01:48:17 |

| Yeah Logitech software sucks... their hardware is awesome though. Use freeware instead of the software that comes with the mouse. |
