It really pisses me off that these antivirus companies make money when their software is so shitty that it makes false alert soo many freakin times. It's like they'd rather have 100 false alerts rather than have to say "their software failed." |

I think it's just due to the nature of the way the launcher works. Since it just auto-updates itself when a new anti-hack version releases it shares characteristics that make your AVG or w/e make it think it could be malicious.
At least, that's how it has been explained to me before. |

okay, thanks; It was a little weird, because the problem only came up today, without me updating the launcher or anything. So back to getting bashed by D+ players for me :< |

Would your rather have a lot of false-positives or a lot of false-negatives? I think it's better this way even if it's a hassle, and it's easy to just put it on an ignore list. |

| NOD32 doesn't see anything.. but yeah, they should submit their stuff to those websites that verify that it's not malicious. |

| Got the same msg for the first time today. do you use Avira? If you do it's probably just some updated definition that makes it so that it now appears as a trojan. |

| Had this happen to me too. I think it was the windowed mode files that made my antivirus go off. |

| yeah the new w-mode 1.02 would make my avast antivirus go off, while 1.01 didn't because I submitted a false positive report to them... I really don't feel like doing it again lol |

If you have a sitty antivirus. Go to virusscan.jotti.org or something( if im wrong google that site). That site will upload your file and get it scanned by 20 antiviruses. So if 1 of them says its a virus and then rest of the 19 says it doesnt. The best bet is that is that its NOT a virus |

| www.virustotal.com is my preferred multi-scanner, jotti.org one is frequently overloaded or out of date. |

Yeah Avira recently started being really annoying. I literally can't play iccup without first turning it off, because it constantly minimizes sc to tell me about shit I just fucking told it to ignore 10 seconds ago.
I emailed virus@avira.com or whatever email thing it says to email in the help files with the sc .icc file, but then it started calling all the chaos .bwl files and the old penguin plug files viruses too, it's getting really annoying =/ |

Use Combofix once in a while if you don't have an AV on your computer. (most viruses exploits spam mails rather than websites.)

This is one annoying shit that happened to me before that is why I uninstall the AV and just practice safety when checking out websites.

I got the same problem. Can someone help me out?
McAfee detected: wmode.bwl, and iccscbn.icc as Trojans and put both in quarantine.
I tell McAfee to restore iccscbn.icc and it does for 2 seconds before it removes it again >< I cant launch iccup AH anymore. I dont know how to turn McAfee off. |
