Today is the annual Senior Skip Day at my school, but I caught the flu at the worst time ever and I have nothing to do besides sit in front of my computer. All the other kids are hanging out at the beach...
Anyway, I looked through some old and recent photos throughout my last year of high school, and thought I would share some of them. It would also keep me occupied for a little bit, hopefully

- The infamous "senioritis." According to urbandictionary.com:
Senioritis: NOUN - A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.

- Colleges! Couple weeks ago I went to go visit Duke University, and was fortunate enough to stay with Empyrean there. Even though I had not made my decision yet, we were already talking about our future StarCraft LAN plans and what not I am also hoping to visit Klogon in Philly pretty soon.

on my senior skip day a lot of us went to the park and had a water balloon fight. It was amazing, even though some kid got an empty cooler thrown on him by some nerd in a rage |

Thanks for sharing the pics man :D Grats on the date.
We had our senior skip day 3 weeks ago. We got to go bowling and ice skating. It was pretty fun. We got in a group of 5 for bowling competing with one another (4 guys 1 girl). The girl owned all of us T_T... On the good side, I finally learned how to ice skate XD. Picture taking on the ice rink was pretty fun (lots of accidents). Too bad I don't have any right now 
PS. Nice to know there are other IB seniors out there suffering from senioritis |

By the way, I forgot to tell you about the Marine Lab.
You can take courses at Duke's Marine Lab, which is a satellite campus in Beaufort, NC, right on the beach. You can do it over the summer or just for some time during the school year, and since it's part of Duke, all courses count!
If you have to take physics or something, definitely take it over the summer there. You're literally in class for like two hours a day, then on the beach for the other twenty-two! |

hahaha ever since we finished our presentations and essays for ToK the class was replaced with health (in order for us to graduate with both the IB and American diploma). Although the health class is just about as useful as nap period XD. Cool that our papers may have been sent to each others' schools Cool... and scary XD If you don't mind, what IB subjects do you take? I doubt your papers were sent to our school though. The only IB moderators we have are Arabic and ITGS |

ah i guess not then! this year i am taking physics II, english II, history II, calculus, and tok. what are you taking over there? i am assuming your school offers similar courses, maybe just different foreign language classes. i'm pretty sure our school receives papers and such for every subject area, including french, spanish, tok, and etc. tok is definitely an awesome class though. all we ever do is discuss controversial issues and look at them through various perspectives. what did you write your tok essay on? i wonder if we have similar topics; i wrote mine on "bricks - house, facts - knowledge." |

English A1, Arabic ab initio, Business & Management, ITGS, Environmental Systems, Math SL, ToK, Health. These are my current subjects. All except Health are for IB. I wrote my ToK essay on how much our ethical beliefs should affect our actions. ToK was a really awesome class. Pity that we don't have it anymore T_T |

woah those are some really cool classes. are they all ib? that tok topic does sound familiar, i think it was one of the options. ethics unit was definitely the best imo. |
