This started happening after I cleaned up and defragged my computer.. When I start my computer, it always runs the game Need for Speed Underground 2. I know for a fact that this game does not have "run when startup" feature like some things do such as Steam. I have not changed anything in the registries and I have checked the Registry Editor list and the "Startup" tab in the System Configuration Utility to see nothing related to the game to be found.
It's quite annoying to find that the computer tries to run the game every time it starts up because my comp is really old so it takes a while for the game to load while the whole computer is booting up before I can exit out of it and start to use the computer. I'm thinking about uninstalling the game since I don't play it anymore, but I don't want any annoying problems like having error messages that the game can't be found when the computer starts up or something.
Anyone know how to fix this thing?

download crap cleaner and run it. If that does not help provide hijackthis log.
dont ask for advice on how to use/get those programs google will supply advice. If you provide hijackthis im pretty sure I can fix it because to me it's unlikely to be an advanced problem.
Good luck

If you dont play the game anymore i would suggest uninstalling the game and then rechecking to see if there are any traces left in the save location. You can do that by using the search function and searching for the game name, if you find somethign just delete it and it will not cause any "cannot find" errors since the game was already uninstalled and will not try to run anymore.
You have a rare opportunity to learn how to fix something. Don't dodge it you should fix it=) Nothing is more fun to me then a friend with a computer filled with viruses.
