I know this is a little weird to see a Blog start from Day 3, but at Day 1 I really thought it wasn't blogworthy so I just didn't make one.
So anyways... This is my 3rd day without any nicotine... I decided to quit because... Well I can't even run a mile properly now. My legs are fine but my lungs are just... Terrible now. I can't even swim properly. I've been smoking for 4 years now and I think it's a good time to quit.
First 2 days were alot easier than I thought but this 3rd day is killing me.
Being nicotine deprived is alot more painful than I thought. My temper is getting thinner each day and my tolerance for small things is getting lower and lower.
Looking at my posting history I see myself alot bitchier than usual...
Anyways before I blab on too long... Nicotine Withdrawal is probably the worst thing I've ever felt in my life, and I've even had Hernia surgery.
I'll update you guys every week from now D: wish me luck!
PS: If I'm really bitchy today... It means well I'm just angry

I know exactly what you mean.
I went cold turkey for about three weeks up until the middle of June. I was irritable the entire time, but it started to get better. Unfortunately, final exams came around and I picked up another pack, lol.
I've cut down a lot now. I only smoke when I go out and drink nowadays (which unfortunately is still like 2-4 times a week, lol). On off days, I get by without smoking, even if I get major cravings time to time.
Nicotine is a demonic substance. |

cuz i wana b in kewl crowd lolololol
no seriously. As a young highschooler I really hated drinking. My peers told me smoking does relieve stress but the badside of smoking is lung cancer (lolol). I did exercise but after a certain point running track did not help me relieve my stress so I took up smoking.
Then I got addicted. |

It sucks ass the first week, all you want is that god damn shitty ass nicotine. After a week or so, you don't want the nicotine anymore. The headaches are gone, you're temper is gone, you're normal. Two weeks go by, and you just want a cigarette. Not because you want the nicotine, but it was always a habit to put that cigarette in your hands and smoke it. You just want to smoke it to well... smoke it. You don't want it for any other reason other than that it is a habit to do so.
After a while though if you try hard enough you can get the habit out of your system and never even want a cigarette for any reason whatsoever.
I have quit for 3 months once, and once for a month. Both times after the first initial week, the headaches were gone, and the nicotine cravings were gone. But the craving for having a cigarette because it was so habitual was always there. If you can do it, congrats. I'm still smoking, and I swore that i'd never buy a pack after the tax increase on them raising the price at 7-11 to over $5. But then I realized you can buy them from the gas station for $4.40 so bleh. |

| Try to find a different drug to take to keep your mind off having nicotine. I know a guy who can hook you up with some ketamine. |
