The clan war will consist of a best of 7 match-up, with each team fielding 4 players, and each player having one ‘life.’ The start map will be decided before the match begins by the administrators. After the first round, the losing team will pick a map, with the winning team vetoing one map from the pool (No substitutions or revives will be allowed.). Starcraft 2 Survivor League R1
The league matches will be played in All-Kill Format, in Best of 7 (meaning the first team that eliminates four players of its opponent wins the match). Once a one of the teams has eliminated three players of the opponent team, the viewers will be able to revive a previously defeated player of the team which is behind, in order to act as the ace player, via a poll. If the series is tied 3-3, the ace player of the other team will also be chosen by the viewers among its previously defeated players.

Traditionally, the PvT matchup relies on some big "power units/upgrades" to be stable vs an early Terran push: the colossus, +1/+1 upgrades, zealot speed + archons etc. However, Feast demonstrates a very suave and aggressive PvT style that pits the basic gateway units against the terran early on, immediately catching the terran off guard. With nonstop attacking, this style is certainly a fun one to try on! :D

The 64 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis (following certain qualification tiers). To qualify, a player must be above 500 rating in Masters league on the Korean server. After a great first season the Korean Weekly is BACK and ready to roll for 2012!!!! We will be expanding the tournament in several ways, and thanks to the genrosity of Twitch TV for Season 2 the Korean Weekly will be expanding!
The most important change will be in the Monthly Finals, which have been scrapped in favor of the ESV TV/Twitch TV Grand Prix events.
The ESV TV/Twitch TV Grand Prix events will feature a much more extensive roster of players, upping the number to 36 per event. Most importantly the prize pool has been increased to $2,000 USD per event!!!!

EWM Week 1 Day 3: Round of 32
The EWM is a weekly online tournament with 64 players. The winners will each advance into an offline tournament, and the winner of that finals will receive the Code A seed. In 2012, the EWM is expected to provide 1 seed for every season of Code A in the GSL.
The 64 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis (following certain qualification tiers). To qualify, a player must be above 500 rating in Masters league on the Korean server. However, players that are part of a team, domestic or foreign, are eligible to participate regardless of rank and are given first priority to participate.
The format is best of 3 for every round, and the map order is Daybreak, Dual Sight, and Antiga Shipyard.
Whether you're looking to keep up with your favorite players outside the GSL, or keeping tabs on new recruits for your favorite team, the EWM is here to provide additional exciting content with an incredibly valuable prize on the line!

The 2 rax opening was once upon a time the standard TvP opening. It allowed the terran player to apply a great deal of pressure while securing a fairly early 2nd base. However, Protosses soon learned how to deflect the early pressure and win with any number of medium sized counter swings.
The last several months have marked a resurgence in the 2rax strategy due to some simply adjustments and nice aggression timings! We're going to look at those today! :D

Currently "winning a lot," as pointed out by his opponent, erika has been nipping at the heels of ScottyJamoka for the number one spot in the silver league division. Often accused of "smurfin'" due to his ability to seemingly crush the silver league ladder, erika seems to be the community favorite in this event! Can he defeat his opponent and becoming the champion of Preserver Psi?!

The KSL is back and better than ever! After our initial amazing success with the 2012 Opening Ceremonies, we’ve decided to completely revamp the KSL format! Starting Saturday, February 11th, we’ll be entering a Round-Robin League Format, featuring the 8 teams in the KSL: Prime, Incredible Miracle, FXOpen, Most Valuable Player, ZeNEX, NewStar HoSeo, Fnatic, and StarTale.
The League will run on Saturdays and Sundays, at the regular KSL time. (23:00 KST) [Dates subject to change depending on GSL schedule. Over the next few weekends, these top Korean teams will battle it out for an increased prize pool, showing possibilities and matchups that this GSTL season might not be able to provide!
For every win a team earns, they will win a prize of $200. After the round robin matches complete, the Top 4 teams will be eligible for the playoffs. The 4th place team will face off against the 3rd place team. The winner of the 3rd/4th place match will move on to face the 2nd place team, and like before, the winner of that will advance to the finals to play the 1st place ranked team. The winning team in the finals will earn themselves $5000, with the second place team taking home $2000. As such, not only does every match count for prize money, but also for league standing, where first overall in the league guarantees your team $2000. Like before, all matches will be Best of 11, giving teams a chance to show off not only their top players, but also their hidden talent that isn’t seen in the GSL.

138 of the best SC2 players in the world (based on the results of all notable 2011 SC2 competitions) will be invited to compete in their choice of three regional double-elimination online tournaments (North America, Europe, and Korea/Taiwan).

[NSL] California Online Qualifiers
The California Online Qualifiers is the second exhibition series of the NSL. Due to the overflow of talent in the area, the team manager is hosting an in-house tournament to round off the 18-man roster and solidify players' positions within the line-up. The tournament will feature ~7 GrandMaster players such as coLqxc, RGNAxslav, VPSuppy, xSixMystik, ClashPanther, as well as other high Master players residing in the state. It will be a good opportunity for everyone to get some practice in and meet future teammates in the NSL!
The winner will also receive $50 via PayPal.

Hello! The tournament will feature some of the most well known C ranks players. With the lack of BW tournaments these days(and especially for the Yellow Ranks), I felt it would be fun and entertaining to have them duke it out for that yellow pride. I know that it was mentioned that tip top players should only be considered, but I'm pleading my case for the C ranks!
First: It's only the finals I'm asking to be on the Calander. This means that the two people in the finals have made it out of a 32 man Pool play and 3 rounds of Bo3's to get into the finals which is a Best of Five!
Second:We have players such as PuppyKiller, Kiante, Zergneedsfood, Fold, SnipinPanda, and many others.
Third:We have a streamer and caster for the tournament. All the rounds except Pool Play will be streamed and casted. L_Master has graciously given his time to help in this way.
Lastly: I know that this will probably be rejected, but I would ask you to consider! We have somewhat of a buzz going around and I was hoping that at least a few people who aren't in the actual thread would just pop on TL one day and see it on and view it!

P6E is proud to announce today a new online european teamleague on Starcraft 2: The Starcraft 2 Survivor League! Eight of the best european teams will compete for over $4,000 in prizes offered by our main sponsor Logitech. Kick off is set for january 28th!

EWM Week 2 Day 4: Round of 16
The EWM is a weekly online tournament with 64 players. The winners will each advance into an offline tournament, and the winner of that finals will receive the Code A seed. In 2012, the EWM is expected to provide 1 seed for every season of Code A in the GSL.
The 64 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis (following certain qualification tiers). To qualify, a player must be above 500 rating in Masters league on the Korean server. However, players that are part of a team, domestic or foreign, are eligible to particpate regardless of rank and are given first priority to particpate.
The format is best of 3 for every round, and the map order is Daybreak, Dual Sight, and Antiga Shipyard.
Whether you're looking to keep up with your favorite players outside the GSL, or keeping tabs on new recruits for your favorite team, the EWM is here to provide additional exciting content with an incredibly valuable prize on the line!

Starcraft 2 Survivor League
P6E is proud to announce today a new online european teamleague on Starcraft 2: The Starcraft 2 Survivor League! Eight of the best european teams will compete for over $4,000 in prizes offered by our main sponsor Logitech. Kick off is set for january 28th!
In order to give the best possible experience to the Starcraft's fans, we put a lot of thinking into the league format. The SC2SL will be in survivor mode and the matches will be played in Best-Of-7 format. All matches will be broadcasted live in various languages.
The league will include a unique feature as fans will be able to revive their favorite player during a match. Viewers will be able to vote live on the SC2SL website in order to revive a player during a clanwar.

KSL Grand League: Startale vs Prime
The KSL is back and better than ever! After our initial amazing success with the 2012 Opening Ceremonies, we’ve decided to completely revamp the KSL format! Starting Saturday, February 11th, we’ll be entering a Round-Robin League Format, featuring the 8 teams in the KSL: Prime, Incredible Miracle, FXOpen, Most Valuable Player, ZeNEX, NewStar HoSeo, Fnatic, and StarTale.
The League will run on Saturdays and Sundays, at the regular KSL time. (23:00 KST) [Dates subject to change depending on GSL schedule. Over the next few weekends, these top Korean teams will battle it out for an increased prize pool, showing possibilities and matchups that this GSTL season might not be able to provide!
For every win a team earns, they will win a prize of $200. After the round robin matches complete, the Top 4 teams will be eligible for the playoffs. The 4th place team will face off against the 3rd place team. The winner of the 3rd/4th place match will move on to face the 2nd place team, and like before, the winner of that will advance to the finals to play the 1st place ranked team. The winning team in the finals will earn themselves $5000, with the second place team taking home $2000. As such, not only does every match count for prize money, but also for league standing, where first overall in the league guarantees your team $2000. Like before, all matches will be Best of 11, giving teams a chance to show off not only their top players, but also their hidden talent that isn’t seen in the GSL.

That's right! Season 3 is upon us with a fury unlike ever before. Sadly, with the fall of so many LAN centers, we have had to go to an online structure, but no worries! The tournament costs are down to $15 instead of $25 and the finals will be held at GosuLAN. The $15 is paid through paypal.

KSL Grand League: MVP vs FnaticRC
The KSL is back and better than ever! After our initial amazing success with the 2012 Opening Ceremonies, we’ve decided to completely revamp the KSL format! Starting Saturday, February 11th, we’ll be entering a Round-Robin League Format, featuring the 8 teams in the KSL: Prime, Incredible Miracle, FXOpen, Most Valuable Player, ZeNEX, NewStar HoSeo, Fnatic, and StarTale.
The League will run on Saturdays and Sundays, at the regular KSL time. (23:00 KST) [Dates subject to change depending on GSL schedule. Over the next few weekends, these top Korean teams will battle it out for an increased prize pool, showing possibilities and matchups that this GSTL season might not be able to provide!
For every win a team earns, they will win a prize of $200. After the round robin matches complete, the Top 4 teams will be eligible for the playoffs. The 4th place team will face off against the 3rd place team. The winner of the 3rd/4th place match will move on to face the 2nd place team, and like before, the winner of that will advance to the finals to play the 1st place ranked team. The winning team in the finals will earn themselves $5000, with the second place team taking home $2000. As such, not only does every match count for prize money, but also for league standing, where first overall in the league guarantees your team $2000. Like before, all matches will be Best of 11, giving teams a chance to show off not only their top players, but also their hidden talent that isn’t seen in the GSL.

We're going to examine Ret's amazing ability to churn out JUST the right amount of drones, while still accounting for all the possible threats that could happen in the early game.
More importantly, however, we'll learn about some critical roach/hydra attack timings in the mid-game. Traditionally the roach mix is planned for defense, but we see that Ret will exploit a very common weakness of a 3basing Protoss.

EWM Round of 64: Week 3 Day 1
The EWM is a weekly online tournament with 64 players. The winners will each advance into an offline tournament, and the winner of that finals will receive the Code A seed. In 2012, the EWM is expected to provide 1 seed for every season of Code A in the GSL.
The 64 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis (following certain qualification tiers). To qualify, a player must be above 500 rating in Masters league on the Korean server. However, players that are part of a team, domestic or foreign, are eligible to particpate regardless of rank and are given first priority to particpate.
The format is best of 3 for every round, and the map order is Daybreak, Dual Sight, and Antiga Shipyard.
Whether you're looking to keep up with your favorite players outside the GSL, or keeping tabs on new recruits for your favorite team, the EWM is here to provide additional exciting content with an incredibly valuable prize on the line!

The EWM is a weekly online tournament with 64 players. The winners will each advance into an offline tournament, and the winner of that finals will receive the Code A seed. In 2012, the EWM is expected to provide 1 seed for every season of Code A in the GSL.
The 64 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis (following certain qualification tiers). To qualify, a player must be above 500 rating in Masters league on the Korean server. However, players that are part of a team, domestic or foreign, are eligible to particpate regardless of rank and are given first priority to particpate.
The format is best of 3 for every round, and the map order is Daybreak, Dual Sight, and Antiga Shipyard.
Whether you're looking to keep up with your favorite players outside the GSL, or keeping tabs on new recruits for your favorite team, the EWM is here to provide additional exciting content with an incredibly valuable prize on the line!

ESL Country Championship 2012: Sweden vs Bulgaria
Second round of ESL Country Championship will be battled out this week, in Group C we will see the two nations Sweden and Bulgaria battling it out. Sweden coming off a strong showing against Ireland, taking the series 5:0, looking to increase and secure their lead in the group while Bulgaria in case of a win could go up to 2nd place or even 1st place in the group depending on the results of other games. Bulgaria barely lost their first round game against the UK with 2:3, and as such this should be an entertaining series.

After last week with a very successful return of "Mouz Trap!", having had mouz|Hasu talk us through some of the finer points of PvX, this week before ASUS ROG we'll be having another mouz player make an appearance. The newest member of the roster, mouz|Marine, the young 14 year old German will be guest appearing to give us a little insight into the mind of a potential rising star on the up-n-up!

How Swiss Rounds work:
+ Show Spoiler +The first round is either drawn at random or seeded according to some prior order, such as rating or last year's performance. Players who win receive 3 points, those who draw receive 1 point and players that lose receive no points. Win, lose, or draw, all players proceed to the next round where winners are pitted against winners, losers are pitted against losers, and so on. Destiny vs Drezi Showmatch
Icelandic player Drezi won a spot in a local tournament to compete against well known pro player, in this second showmatch in the series (followed by GEGTchrobbus vs WhiteRa) we got QxGDestiny to agree to a 100$ showmatch, second place gets 50$.
This will be a best of 9 series.
I will be commentating with friends from the local community. Language is English.
