AGL-August Invitational
ALT Starcraft's AGL-August Invitational in which players who have won invite codes through various weekly qualifying tournaments and specially invited players will compete for a $500 prize pool. The event will occur live on two separate days. It will begin on Friday August 31, where all games will be played up until the round of 6. On Saturday September 1, the losers bracket quarter and semi-finals, winners and losers bracket finals, and grand final match will be played.
Players are either invited back from placing top 8 in the previous AGL, qualifying through open tournaments, or personally invited.
There will be two streams for this event. Each stream representing an individual bracket. The matches being casted on the other stream will be displayed on the overlays.

Starcraft Series Switzerland (IeSF Qualification Switzerland)
The 'Starcraft Series Switzerland' is organized by esport blog (www.esportblog.ch) and sponsored by Lanforge (www.lanforge.ch). It works like the German EPS (ESL Pro Series) system. We had 6 qualifier cups with a point-ranking-system, where every participator got some points. The winner got 100 points, second 75 and so on. The top 8 qualified players will play now this coming Saturday offline in Zurich, one of the biggest city in Switzerland. Favorite is for sure the former mousesport's progamer 'biGs', but also the other qualified Swiss players are very strong. Lanforge sponsored the prizes for the first, second and third.
It is: 1. MiniMax Gamer Edition PC for about 2000 Swiss francs, 2. BenQ XL2410T LED 3D for about 320 Swiss francs, 3. Roccat Power Pack Starter for about 180 Swiss francs.
The 'Starcraft Series Switzerland' is also the IeSF Qualification for Switzerland, so the winner of the offline tournament wins the IeSF spot for Starcraft II.
Everything will be lived casted on local by BEVTV (www.own3D.bevtv) with PengWin and eshA (me) as casters.
For Switzerland it's a great thing happening, because we usually don't have big events like this. It's a great thing and Lanforge is helping out a lot. I hope we get some help from Teamliquid to promote Switzerland as an eSports and Starcraft II country.

Welcome back Starcraft II fans to the sixth instalment of the Team Dignitas SCAN Invitational! You know the drill, eight players come together on one evening to play a single elimination tournament with the incentive being a £725 prize pool provided by SCAN Computers. The action will take place live on the 1st September at 15:00 CET!
This time, unfortunately, your usual host Shaun 'Apollo' Clark will not be able to guide you through the evening but fear not, the casters replacing him will be more than capable to provide you with an entertaining show. Over the next few days, we will announce the invited players in pairs of two followed by the map pool and bracket on Friday, the day before the tournament.

Following the success of TCL, the Taiwan community is hosting an individual event for the players of Asia. This individual event will feature some of the best players in Asia including players from Gama Bears, Wayi Spider, iG and Prime.

Asia Starcraft League, starring top professional and amateur players all around Asia, will be starting on August 7, 2012! We have invited 128 players from Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and numerous other Asia countries to participate in our 4 month long tournament. ASL strives to bring you the highest stream quality through our professional casting staff, and is delighted to present to you the epic games between the best players from all around Asia!
The tournament will begin with 2 group stages (RO128 and RO64), 32 players will then advance to a double elimination bracket. Since both professional players and amateur players are invited, we will see an interest mix of players in each group. [CSL] UC Berkeley vs Seoul National University
It's been some months since the dust settled from Korea's last fray into the North American Collegiate scene. Determined to show their skill, the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) reached out to challenge their North American collegiate counterparts, and the University of California Berkeley stepped up to the challenge. On July 10th, these two schools battled it out in a no holds barred best of 9 allkill match. KAIST drew first blood that day, and quickly jumped to a 3-0 lead. Bloodied but not yet deterred, UC Berkeley threw out their leader Conan "Suppy" Liu to hold the line against the Korean onslaught. Suppy proceeded to dismantle each and every opponent thrown at him, and in the end UC Berkeley proved their worth with a 5-3 victory over KAIST.
Stung by the defeat, the Koreans withdrew back to their own server...and bidded their time for their next offensive. Now, a new challenger has stepped up to the plate to avenge the honor of their fallen compatriots and assert their dominance. The Seoul National University eSports team, boasting the likes of TSL_Polt on their roster, have issued a challenge to the University of California Berkeley Starcraft 2 team. The Berkeley team is no small threat, headed by team leader and new Evil Geniuses member Suppy, and a strong corp of players behind his back. Yet even so, the task will be an immense one to overcome.
Once again the lines will be drawn on the battlefield, as the North American and Korean collegiate scenes clash once more.
Who will emerge victorious in this international clash of educational institutions? Tune in Friday September 14th starting at 8:00 pm PST to find out!

Asia Starcraft League, starring top professional and amateur players all around Asia, will be starting on August 7, 2012! We have invited 128 players from Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and numerous other Asia countries to participate in our 4 month long tournament. ASL strives to bring you the highest stream quality through our professional casting staff, and is delighted to present to you the epic games between the best players from all around Asia!
The tournament will begin with 2 group stages (RO128 and RO64), 32 players will then advance to a double elimination bracket. Since both professional players and amateur players are invited, we will see an interest mix of players in each group. All four professional teams Tt Apollo, Gamania Bears, Wayi Spiders, and Yoe Ironmen have been invited, along with the traditional amateur teams in Taiwan like StorM, Rush, team Prime from Korea, iG and WE from China, xGKing and Infi from SEA, and Kamikaze from Japan. We have invited 128 players from Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and numerous other Asia countries to participate in our 4 month long tournament. Introduction:
Asia Starcraft League, starring top professional and amateur players all around Asia, will be starting on August 7, 2012! We have invited 128 players from Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and numerous other Asia countries to participate in our 4 month long tournament. ASL strives to bring you the highest stream quality through our professional casting staff, and is delighted to present to you the epic games between the best players from all around Asia!
The tournament will begin with 2 group stages (RO128 and RO64), 32 players will then advance to a double elimination bracket. Since both professional players and amateur players are invited, we will see an interest mix of players in each group. All four professional teams Tt Apollo, Gamania Bears, Wayi Spiders, and Yoe Ironmen have been invited, along with the traditional amateur teams in Taiwan like StorM, Rush, team Prime from Korea, iG and WE from China, xGKing and Infi from SEA, and Kamikaze from Japan. This is the tournament that you do not want to miss!

In this tournament, one guest player will have to beat 4 players of eXtensive's line-up in a row, all of these inbest of one. There are 3 possibilités :
