On the issue of Bisu, I think the thing to remember is that while his single-game performance has been very lackluster, he's still way more likely to take a Bo5 than Jangbi/Best/Pure/Flying, and Violet. Yes, Violet's winning games, but that's because he hasn't been *in* any of the individual leagues. He hasn't played a Bo5, oh I dunno, EVER?

actually single games are what's keeping bisu in contention, since he's out in both individual leagues, losing to two new guys. They both do well in single games, and Violet's more interesting to write about, since he's new, and the head of the new KT tosses

He's out of the OSL from losing to Shine, who immediately went on to also beat Stork. He hasn't had the *chance* to play set games, but off experience, he's still likely to be the better set player than someone who's never been in a televised set.
I will concede that Violet is more interesting to write about.

losing to frozean is synonymous with being shamed. lol
kinda needed bisu in there. he's just much better than some of ones listed.

I can't believe people seriously argue about Bisu not being in that list and can't decide whether op trolls or it's just blind fanboysm and hate.
The zerg and terran threads are quite good, this is just trash

3 straight people complain about the lack of bisu
they all have SKT as their team logo
and I'm the one that gets called a fanboy somehow (note: if I did the zerg article, you could call my fanboyism, as shine would be in effort's spot)
what would you like me to write about? bisu's lack of matches against top players recently, or how he's still not quite on his A game? another bisu article would be boring, the developing talent is much more interesting.

Bisu isn't on there because he's done jack shit recently. All of these names have done something (you know, like IMPROVED) to show a possible revival of the Protoss race.

I lost faith to the Protoss players....
...except Movie who has a chance to get the OSL from Flash.

this is screwing up format so badly
I have to say though, Movie may not yet belong here. He's only shown prowness in a single matchup, and the other two are mediocre at best. Violet is ok, but has not shown particular brilliance throughout the season.
as for their competitors:
JangBi - Has still excellent PvP, though it seems he sorely underestimated Stats. His PvZ has shown considerable improvement, or at least his judgement has. His PvT is recently untested, but not looking great considering he lost to Barracks
BeSt - His PvP is lightyears behind what it once was. Losses to Stork and Violet may be acceptable, but to Shuttle and Pusan? Not so much. His PvT is godly still, losing only to Flash, which is nothing to be ashamed of, as he would be on a gigantic streak otherwise. As for his PvZ, while good enough to beat the likes of Chavi, Hydra, and even Clam, is not up to "Victory after Victory" standards.
GosI[Flying] - Definitely not S-Class, nor "Victory after Victory" standards. I consider him a very good rookie, and he'll likely bloom in the next round or two, but as of right now he's still just another struggling protoss.
Bisu - Is perhaps the most controversial of all the protoss. But I believe that he definitely belongs here. His PvZ is on a 7 game streak, though with the only notable opponents being RorO, Shine, and hero. Yet this is definitely enough to consider him proficient in the matchup. As for his PvP, He lost to Stork, GuemChi, and SeCret. I will not pretend to know anything about the game between him and SeCret, but I know that the game with Stork is not much to be ashamed about, and that the game with Guemchi, while definitely puts him out of the running for being dominant, does not exclude him from being eligible for this article. Bisu's PvT, however, makes him a little iffy. Because he lost to CuteAngel and Bogus. That's enough to put anyone in doubt. The only dominant victories he's had in this matchup were against Mind and PianO- he wasn't even able to beat TurN convincingly. So while I still believe he belongs in the article, as his performance is above both Violet and Movie's, Bisu should not be ranked above Stork nor Kal.

Bisu's record over same period of time: Record: 52 wins - 21 losses (71.23%)
I like the article and I find the latest period of time reflects the names up there. All players are gr8 (including Bisu). All of them except Movie have a win% over 50% in each match-up, But considered that movie shows the way in PvZ (the hard match-up) and is in the OSL finals he somewhat belongs there. Also think Flying and Shuttle is players to watch out for.
And yes, Kal's performance lately has been awesome and he totally deserves the spot he got.
|
I haven't been following PL since my FPL sunk faster than the Titanic after I ditched Stork. But when I checked Kal's stats in the PL, I was like WOAH!
I never held Kal in high regard, but he is definitely on fire right now.

Bisu is finished. I'm still in love with him, but I think it's time for the next generation of tosses.

lol no bisu. he's the best of them obv.

Keep dreaming, tossers! (I'm kidding :p Good read! Stork Hwaiting!)
