-Just a warning this is a third party program like chaos launcher so use at your own risk. This is not meant to be used with iccup.
-For best results use this in larger sized games.
Starcraft Drop Hack Protection
StarCraft Drop Hack Protection - By hellinsect
This may protect you from all drop hacks, may alert you when a drop hack is used and may tell you who the attacker was! You can also respond to the attack by dropping the attacker yourself.
To USE Load StarCraft. Log on to Battle Net. Enter any channel. Click on the loader. Join an online game. Enjoy protection!
COMMANDS
"/dhp" This stands for "Drop Hack Protection". Use this command to turn the hack on and off. This is useful if you are experiencing lag during a game. Lag is dependent on your network connection and little can be done about it.
"/sd" This stands for "Stop Drops". It may protect you from 99% of drop hack attempts. People might still drop you if you're lagging and the lag box comes up.
"/bd" This stands for "Boosted Detection". Often you may want to identify the person responsible when a person is dropped from the game. Use this feature to boost your ability to detect other people being dropped from the game.
"/cd" This stands for "Counter Drop". This may attempt to drop people who use drophacks. It is recommended that you use this feature to kick droppers out of the game before more people are dropped.
"/da" This stands for "Drop Alert". It may tell you of detected drop hack activity in the game. If you get spammed with drops, simple disable the alert.

In the unlikely case that something goes wrong feel free to post your error log. This will allow us to further perfect this Anti-Hack. Thank you
Update Log:
First update to v1.1 Fixed a bug that prevents the counter method from working. Fixed a bug that allows drop packets to get past when flooded. Fixed a bug that has to do with a dynamic module not being hooked.
How to run this via Chaos Launcher. (if you downloaded Drop Hack Protection before I added this and want to use it as a Chaos Launcher plug-in please re-download the Protection)
- Extract the files into the Chaos Launcher folder and then run chaos launcher. The files cannot be in a sub folder they must be in the main Chaos Launcher folder.
This thing has saved my a** more than once. I am glad you guys like it. If you have any questions or problems just post them here or email the creator.

It seems in large games drop hackers can "target" certain players, does this protect just you or everyone in game?
This protects you and only you. It should detect a person if they drop someone, even if their target wasn't you. Then if you have counter-drop on that player will drop if not you will just be notified. Unfortunately that first player will still be dropped.
You would probably find a lot more users if you actually released it as a ChaosLauncher plugin. I also wish you hadn't added in counter-dropping, but ah well.
will it also auto-drop someone using the program himself? say P1 drops P2, P3 and P4 have this running, kick P1 out and then themselves because they see someone else drop hacking?

No they wouldn't kick each-other out because the protection protects them from the counter. Don't worry its set up so the counters won't endlessly loop.

- extract the files into the chaoslauncher folder and create a file named "DrophackProtection1.1.inj" - open it up with notepad and paste this into the file
I used blacklist before they updated the patches from 1.15. Subsequently, my account on bnet was banned for it's use. I guess warden was able to detect it.
As for this, I hope there is an option that automatically turns all its features on.

You will notice a file in the bundle where you can change the default on/off settings
I talked to the coder he doesn't want to add a blacklist. If you really really want a blacklist you can try Google possibly. There is bound to be one out there.

This won't be picked up by any anti-hack programs. The only way it can be detected is if someone tries to drop you(you won't drop) or you have something on your computer such as iccup's anti-hack.
On February 19 2010 09:26 tofucake wrote: This won't be incorporated into the ICCup Launcher until "Counter Drop" is removed, I can promise you that.
Well hacks can't really be used on iccup; isn't it kinda pointless to have another hack protection on iccup. This is meant for the Official Battle Net servers where not everyone uses iccup launcher and hacks such as drophack are in almost every game=(.
I just looked in my Chaos folder and noticed that since i've been running this there are a whole bunch of .whp files ranging from 1kb to 10mb large. Anyone have any clue?
Btw, I started running wDetector at the same time so it's possible it's associate with wDetector and not this.

Very freaking nice..btw GJ!
it would save them a lot of work on complaints if they did

hmm try it without wdetector for a little while, post again if that works. If you are still having the same problem after that pm me your msn or aim or something like that and I will try to help. I have a feeling its wdetector because nobody else has had this problem and we tested this for like 3 months. I could be wrong though =P
