Blizzard clearly invited them because they want to continue to support BW and the last time I checked, it's called Blizzcon, not SC2con, i.e. all Blizzard games are welcome. Blizzard is proud of BW and they should be, (with 12 years of relevance, a bloody miracle in this day and age) and this is the logical and preferred course of action now that the KESPA fight is over. I'm just glad we get to see some BW action after these weeks of inactivity :| Anyway, am I going to be able to see free streams/vods of whatever they do or am I shit out of luck there? I don't see how the paranoia is unwarranted tbh. Not so long ago blizzard tried to kill the BW scene in Korea. Now it's all cool and dandy and they're inviting BW progamers? Kinda fishy to me.

If you wanna be cynical the logic could be that they dont want to kill BW unless they are sure that another blizzard game would take its place. Since SC2 isnt as popular in Korea as the rest of the world it would be beneficial to them to try to keep BW alive for the mean time. Personally im just of the opinion that they wanted to get big names for every game that still has a big scene at blizzcon that they could so they invited those people.

Would idra or nony be able to take games off Flash, Jaedong, Or Bisu? not even in their dreams LMAO maybe in a game like sc2 where you can go for a 1-1-1 timing but in a game like bw that actually rewards greater skill differential, there's no way idra/nony can take a game off F/J/B. Haha yeah in SC2 any scrub can take down better players, which is why you don't see anyone consistently winning! Wait. + Show Spoiler + MVP 3 time GSL champion. Won January GSL with a 16-1 record. Won MLG with apparent ease. Wins basically everything. Set to take his 4th GSL. Nestea 3 time GSL champion, won a GSL without dropping a single game. Almost always eliminated by MVP and no one else (almost always). Doesn't reward greater skill difference my hairy fucking arse. /off topic Honestly it'd be weird if they played SC2...they'd probably be pretty bad at it right now. also I think they covered this in the Dongraegu Tl Attack. The top non-korean, Idra, was a B-teamer in the CJ house and he was one of the few people that DongRaeGu could beat. Recently in MLG Orlando Polt lost to Goswser 2-1 in the open bracket, while Idra slayed several koreans, and of course Huk won the whole thing. It's nothing consistent but it's much more random than BW was.

If these guys play SC2 it will be because they choose to. It doesn't matter if its some deal with Blizzard for going to Blizzcon, it's their choice.

Plus 2009 when they just had CJ players and ZerO come lol. although I guess 2007 they had savior when savior was still on the top of his game so nvm. just 2008 and 2009 were not ideal picks. assuming flash is an impossibility, they really couldnt of made 4 better picks What year was it that Nada did that barracks landing trick to push firebats across a mineral line that separated the two bases? Was that the first Blizzcon? And who was it against? My memory is foggy, but I remember being amazed by that move.
