Either way its sad to hear that the most talented gamers at Blizzcon are not getting as much attention as they deserve If they invited them to interact with BW fans, at least announce their presence and hold a fan signing.

According to someone on reddit who spoke to Jaedong, they are having a meeting with Blizzard officials. So make of that what you like.

It seems to me they try to turn us (BW players to SC2 ones) using these titans. Just my crazy suggestion.

well if they finally kill BW then that's the end of gaming for me and moving on to what I should really be wasting my time on. fuck blizzard, sc2 won't be bw ever. they just try too damn hard.

I think Jaedong is definitely someone who could be persuaded to switch to SC2. Look at what has happened to him recently: Lost his team, practice partners(wont have many of them in new team likely), family tragedy, hasnt tasted tourney victory in BW for a long time. These all combined, may shake him up a bit, and seeing all the celebrity and hype in the sc2 tourneys it may strike a chord with him. Not necessarily a good thing, but given the uncertainty around him it may be plausible.

Jaedong seems quite interested...at least more than the SKT ones

They've evaluating the game to see where they think their skills might be transferable. They would be fools not to be thinking ahead a few years when they will likely be playing SC2.
I wonder why they were invited, are they just there to hang out? No show matches, but maybe they will be part of some announcement or interviews?

For me this whole action has only one target: Try to convince them (the korean bw stars) to switch to sc2, by showing them how cool it is to be a sc2 progamer: the tournament feelings, flying around and having a chance to see all the places of the world, to see more then korea and the atmosphere and foreign fans. The conversations with the officials is a trial to make them the whole sc2 stuff delicious. + Show Spoiler +In the worst case we will lose them to sc2 and some other pros and then PL won't survive longer then one season, aaaaaaaaaahhh. Nightmare!

@ Garnet, there are no more pics from fomos (I checked)
@ jaQi, I think so too, but only to a certain degree. This mightve been a trick from Blizzard to make more koreans look at blizzcon.

I'm pretty sure that every BW fan who attended knew they would be there and if not, they probably announced/informed about it in the event. We don't really need to know about fan signing if we aren't there in person.
More pictures needed though. Jaedongs jacket looks sick.

Technically, we aren't supposed to be posting pictures from Fomos anyway. Just post the link next time, please.

They would have to know the mechanics of the other races to come to such a opinion, which can't be obtained from a TvT -.-

Yeah that may be plausible, but then you consider his salary. Is he willing to take a 75% pay cut to play a different game? Going to college or the army (he said he eventually wanted to play for ACE) seems more likely

If for some incredibly unlikely reason Jaedong can't find a BW team who will pay him, ACE is the obvious alternative. He'll get his military service out of the way, keep his skills up, and once he's out he can look at continuing BW or going to Sc2. Hell, if players like Boxer, Nada, and July can be as successful as they've been in Sc2, I'm sure Jaedong would be able to do it even with the skill loss that comes from being on ace and getting limited practice time.
Also, Jaedong on Ace would be terrifying - he'd actually be on a team with some depth.
