Your winners, SK Telecom T1!
Like a boss.
SK Telecom’s Fantasy is a superpower in Proleague Finals. In the 08-09 season vs Hwaseung he won all of his 3 games, and in both 09-10 / 10-11 season finals against KT, he won both of his games. But after his 08-09 season win, Fantasy’s thirst for victory was strong. For this season’s finals, Fantasy said “I will put our team on the winning pedestal”.
Q. Thoughts on your win. Fantasy – We finished the season. Now I can put all those struggling memories into the past, so I’m quite pleased.
Q. You almost lost against Kim Jae Hoon (Jaehoon). Fantasy – Honestly I thought I was going to lose. I expected that Jaehoon would move in but I couldn’t focus enough. I could not measure his attack timing well. In that last battle in the middle, my vessels were stasis’d and I had no scans. I really thought I was going to lose.
Q. Did you have any pressure to win 3-0? Fantasy – Even if I lost I trusted in my team that will win after me. I had no pressure.
Q. You didn’t get even one MVP award. Fantasy – Originally I did not care about winning any awards. But since I didn’t even get ONE award, even I think that’s too much. If you have a 12 win 2 loss record, shouldn’t you have at least one weekly MVP?
Q. Do you think you can get it today. Fantasy – I think they will give me one (laugh).
Q. What do you think is the reason why you have not received an MVP award. Fantasy – In the games I thought I did well, the team lost so it could not get much attention. And when I won and the team won I won too easily so steam ran out.
Q. You’re entering the finals, a 4th consecutive finals appearance. Fantasy – I’m happy we’re 1st again. Also the fact we have a nice rest period before the finals. In a finals stage, I always develop an unknown confidence in me. I will trust in myself and play.
Q. Your goal must be winning. In a finals stage Fantasy has been good, but the team has not. Fantasy – In our last finals, it was painful seeing us lose in the ace match. I hope we definitely win this time around.
Q. Anything you want to say. Fantasy – I want to thank the fans who showed up at the game studios. It is the 4th time for the finals, but the two 2nd place finishes left some painful memories. I will do my best to help the team win.

Let's take the gold this time SKT :D Edit - grammar fix, rush no good ya :O

He shouldn't give too much thought to the novelty of weekly MVP. Jaedong got it after the constipation incident, and Bisu gets if for beating scrubs.
Regarding their loss in the finals, I still to this day wonder why would you send out Best instead of fantasy, when fantasy is proven to be immortal in the playoffs...

It's an outrage that Fantasy doesn't have an MVP!

Fantasy is such a baller. Only terran I genuinely like. He represents bw's awesomeness at its best.
|
Fantasy has been very consistent this season! Thanks for the translation

Come now, Bisu's wins weren't the cleanest of wins, but Jangbi and FBH are Aces of their respective teams
Whether they displayed Ace-level plays though :p is another matter.

damn was looking for best interview, he was so damn hyped after the game.

fantasy doesn't get enough recognition

I miss the old cheese and gimmicky fantasy Fantasy in 2009 was like a hurricane, and in 2010 slump when he had to rely only on his strats and tactics to win a game against any Zerg, he was the most exciting to watch, at last for me. Since his victory over Stork in OSL his standard play is much more solid, but there is no longer any "what-the-hell-fantasy-is-going-to-plot-this-time" moments I loved long ago.

The Fantasy Build, that screwed fantasy 3 games in a row against Jaedong. Gotta love one vulture CC vulture drop valkyries.
Ever since Fantasy learned how to use MnM, his TvZ has been ... consistent. Fantasy in Final: You never know what to expect. that Flash vs Calm game 3 tanks and turret turtle was first used by fantasy against Jaedong on Outsider. (in recent history)

Well everytime Fantasy blows a breathe of fresh air into the Terran strategy, Flash later masters it with his flawless perfection. It seems that the Terrorists is the force that dictate the flow of the metagame.

Jung Myung Hoon showing the confidence of a boss. Always my fav players, you got a Starleague Bro, Weekly MVP nbd amirite?
|
He wont get weekly MVPs because he'll be the Season MVP.

Thanks for the translation.
After not being used initially at the beginning of the season, the Enigma has been the foundation on which SKT's 1st place finish was built. Brilliant season so far for Fanta. Now he just needs to get in the head of SoO and make sure he continues his form in the GF.

So Bisu must not play! or better yet, Bisu must lose! ^_^

Fantasy, why are you so awesome at Brood War?
But yeah, I do miss Fantasy's fancy unorthodox builds.
Thanks for the translation.

Best team. Best player from team. I can't see how Fantasy can't win the Proleague MVP, especially since Flash has returned to earth for a bit (in TvP no less!).
|
to be honest i have never really cheered for skt because i always hope they lose (so that my poor team 8 has a higher chance to get in the playoffs because skt is too damn strong).
but now that team 8 is already out, i will be cheering for skt1... not because that they are strong, but because of fantasy. flash may be the best player, but i love fantasy more.
