Hi, today, I was watching Pusan's stream from Afreeca, and someone mentioned Nada has been streaming BW for a while. Pusan also didn't know about it, but soon, it was correct. Let me tell teamliquid about his streaming site. http://afreeca.com/nada11200 : this is Nada's streaming site. I heard he is in army, but he can still play and stream. He mentioned he wants to have fun with his viewers, which he now plays a lot of team plays with his viewers. I hope this helps our BW community :D
Awesome! Someone should restream this haha. ^^^^ oh nice :D
OGN should start a BW league without sponsored teams, just amateurs and ex-pros or something. Maybe a bunch of old players would play like Hiya, Midas, Pure, Nada etc. Would be sick!
I can watch this but how can i get fullscreen?? its just a little pop up window....... EDIT: Aww couldnt it lasted just for a little while... Thank you masterbeti for restreaming <3
I'm pretty sure NaDa got angry after he got raped by Anytime in legends matches. Now he's practicing hard and gonna ask for rematch with Anytime so he can crush him and show him to never mess with him again. Typical NaDa...
No really, I want him to get as much support as damn possible! Next time a re-stream of his draws the inevitable large numbers of viewers, we've got to screen-shot and let 'em know!
Man that game was sick. I like SC2, but my eyes were glued to that screen for 30 minutes for that TvP. I don't usually feel like that for SC2. Why is BW being phased out again?

To be honest, I think streaming only on afreeca was intentional. My feeling is that is he were to suddenly start streaming on twitch again, he may have to use the CoL ID, since he might still be under contract. This is my thoughts though, don't take them for fact.

Can't he just recreate any Twitch account?
I think its more of, he can't stream to foreign fans when he is still techinally under contract with CoL. but since he retired early, he gets out of the contract, if he shows uup streaming again, CoL might take it as a sign that he never intended to reitre and just wanted out of the contract.
plus I don't think he knows there is a huge amount of people who would watch him play BW on twitch.
Seriously, what with Violet being active on TL, we really need to start a 'foreign-fan-interaction' revolution! All our dear retired BW pros? Get them to read TL, let's interact, I'm sure they would be blown away from the insane positive feedback.
god, i just feel sorry for that protoss player. breaks through minefield, decent stasis, kills like 10 tanks NOPE, STILL 30 TANKS AND A BUNCH OF VULTURES LEFT.

Perhaps he dabbled with BW here and there on the side? I know some pros that still do this (or have, recently, within the past 5 months).
Edited: But if you watch the game on Fighting Spirit... you can tell there's still some rust, obviously, and the protoss player could definitely have played better. Regardless, it's still nice to see that he didn't look really bad.

He really didn't do to well in SC2, he was a Bonjwa in early BW, but he just could not emulate that kind of success in SC2, in fact he had fairly little success, winning not very much as time went on. He started very strong, like BoxeR did, and then kind of started falling off very hard as SC2's skilled players became larger and the strength and finess of the game got deeper. Its not a 12 year old game, but it has come a long way in 2 years.

He did quite well in terms of consistency, however, never went out of Code S up until the end. This was despite a Stephano-like schedule where he studied for his university work AND ran his online stor while playing SC2. Definitely NOT something to sneeze at.

He was in Code S like 8 seasons straight and was consistently in the ro16-ro8. He may not have won anything but he was also part of university and not taking the game as seriously as many others in the GSL.

If you were to ask a lot of players first hand which they prefer many of them would say BW.
Politically correct answer would be, "I like the new challenge SC2 provides."
Sucks when the money dries up. Just because there is no more OSL or PL doesn't mean BW is dead lmao.

He couldn't emulate it because he didn't have the time/will to practice. He's been playing professionally for over a decade, had school when his results first dropped off, and had health issues to boot. It really had nothing to do with the game, to be completely honest.

It does mean it is dead though. I mean unless you want to watch amataurs play then sure you can continue to keep watching it or when the occasional S players streams games vs non S rank players (?) So how is it still alive?

Funny funny... Again funny thing is Airforce is playing sc2 though with their computer in the military. gj
a couple of things. NaDa isn't in the military yet, he isn't going for at least a few more months. From what I understand he is actually managing a sc2 team atm and building it up, then he is going to the military.
He plan on first getting the team up and running, then going into the military. I have not heard anything about the team yet, or even its recruitment of players. So him streaming is most likely a way for him to interact with fans. I don't think he cares about which game is better, he is just playing the same game he played for the last decade.

Not surprised he went back to BW. The 1a battles in SC2 get old after a while. And this is coming from a guy who has played both games and currently playing SC2. If hes not a pro anymore i can see why he would want to play BW for fun.
He streams BW not because of military computer or anything that involves military. He streams it because he likes streaming BW. That's all. He is in military where he goes to military at morning, and come back at night.

snipealot is streaming Nada. Mind you, he seems to still be very rusty, and I believe he got owned by all of the current afreeca BJs (except for Force[Name] he won 2-0 lol). Still pretty good though, if he plans to keep playing (he applied for Best BJ so that should be indicative), he should improve quickly.
"전역! 오랜만이에효 오늘밤 12시에 아프리카 방송 마니 놀러와주세효" "Discharged! It's been a long time come and see me on Afreeca TV at midnight" His stream link: http://afreeca.com/nada11200
NaDa said he'll stream until 3 AM KST today since it's a weekday. He first thought of streaming till 2 AM (which is 30 minutes from now) but then said it wouldn't be right. He said something about how he'll have to end the stream that time due to being weekday + also to have preparation for his 'official" stream.
Does this mean today's stream is simply a pilot episode or episode 0 of The Adventures of NaDa?
Oh my goodness 24k viewers on Afreeca! That's just insane!
What a force to be reckoned with. Those mechanics still look gorgeous even after such a long break! Enjoying every minute of it.

If you need to open in incognito mode, you can probably only open two at a time. Chrome counts all incognito windows as the same session. Naturally, you can get two more from Firefox, and another two from another browser up to how many you want. It's not a matter of anticipating it, it's a matter of not caring because 99% of users won't do this. All web developers make use of private windows because it saves time being confused why the site looks wrong when it's just a cached version. I am torn whether private mode was originally just for developers, or if it was actually designed for pornography. Could have been either really.
Still it's a system everyone uses and it costs bandwidth, so try not to be too bm. Don't open streams just to 'help' by adding viewer count, like SC2 ESPORTS in 2011.

I can play any afreeca stream I want completely flawlessly, but for nada's stream it always keeps freezing or being slow, only his stream ! Anyone know what that could be so? :o
I find a lot of the afreeca streams are laggy or pause every 5 seconds, but Nada's hardly ever gives me trouble. Which is good because he's probably the best streamer.
14:44 CEST (game already a lot in) - super fun take on the Flash Build by NaDa. I don't watch Afreeca all that much but still a rarity to see - I mostly catch some early push into FE strats.

It could be either. BJs can set it themselves, but the people monitoring at Afreeca can do it as well. Although, they are probably more focused on people getting naked than on Nada.

What's the "BJ" thing ?
BJ = Broadcast Jockey. It's what they call their broadcasters on AfreecaTV Korea.
