I also think Technics played P more out of arrogance (and perhaps in attempt to hide how good he is, before the next stage), than out of any race-picking reasons for better chances to win. He should have won the ZvZ (easily) imo. Or maybe he was just bored or something. He might also not care much what group he ends up in.

Or maybe he just thought that PvZ would be much more entertaining than a ZvZ for the 3000 viewers and it would be a calculated risk because he was already qualified for the TLS.
Yes! Thank you TL so much for doing this, I haven't seen BW in way too long (partly my fault of course), so I'm super stoked to watch this. Hoping Bakruyu qualifies before the tournament starts!
wow the intro is just so good : ) love the music choice.
also the casters did a great job, i know a little of brood war, but they explained stuff so that newbies would understand, but i felt they did a bit more advanced anaylsis on timings and how builds affect timings and what not.
all round a great qualifiers, looking forward to the actual tournament so much !

I would totally agree that ZvZ is luck based, but Jaedong WHY? HOW?
No seriously I don't understand -.- and those statistics are kind of ruined by his 2012 performance that was kind of subpar. He used to have a 75% winrate.
just watched the 1st "recommended" game, R16 SJ.TerrOr < Fighting Spirit > SJ.Napoleon.... i strongly disagree... if this caliber of game is recommended, then there's no need to see the rest recommendation.
i do enjoy the cast though, just wayyyyyy off on the recommendation.

IMO the recommendation is based off of the players, not the game.

Then the post should have stated ANYTHING BUT, "recommended GAMES". I really need my bw dose though, it's been too long since there's any recommended games sad sad sad

Most of the time recommended game in foreign scene just means a lot of back and forth battles or random composition of units, not necessarily that it's the best game to watch. It depends on your personal preferences as well, they can't please everyone. IMO try to catch a live cast, it is way more entertaining.
there are fixed replay packs. the system we're using is a modified one from the TL opens that were run for sc2 and it renames the replays to the player names from the system with the sc2replay file ending. heyoka renamed and reuploaded and linked in the thread, if u downloaded the sc2replay one, try adn find his next post in the thread and it should have the real ones
