why are queens not used more often? I get it that they are hard to handle, but usually there is not smooth transition of getting more and more queens to counter mass tanks transition. Usually zerg will just get at some point 20 queens at once. Isn't it better to get a slowly higher queen count?
We would have a Zerg style similar to sk terran, but now its SK zerg, with the zerg roaming around instead now and getting map control
Queens are a lot more vulnerable (since terran generally has more anti-air) and spawn broodling takes 150 mana instead of 75 like irradiate. Terran also doesn't have such key units like a single defiler aside from the first few tanks in their first tank push.
I think the main argument against queens is that using queens is hard. To make them cost efficient you have to put a lot of additional APM into it and most players just dont have that to spare. But if you have that extra bit of APM because you are just that awesome than you can totally go for it.
Most of the games where I saw queens being used they were awesome and totally dominated the fights. But there was also some games where the queens didnt do much and were just a wasted effort because the APM wasnt there. I think it also depends on your opponent. Queens work well if your opponent plays slow and doesnt tax your multitasking too much with multi-pronged attacks and harassment.
I've always wondered if delayed defilers in favor of midgame army + ensnare is plausible as a go to strat. The basic premise is to keep tank numbers (so defilers won't be necessary too soon) in check if Terran chooses to pressure or keep him inside his base in fear of the former. Zerg will use many lings and expand behind the pressure.
Problem with staying long on lair is that when terran spots it (and it's easy to spot with a casual scan to check tech) terran can just wait untill he gets a critial mass of tanks/m&m and there is no way that zerg can break through.

has anyone else felt like Zerg is more strenuous on keyboard hand than T and P? When I have to spam SD or S whatever early game I end up getting really sore. It seems less repetive with T so my hand hurts less. Anyone else have this issue or am I possibly doing something wrong for this to happen.
No this is normal. Only thing you can do is to play more. If you want a more relaxed playing, pick protoss. Requires the least amount of mechanics aside from pro level.
Been a while guys D: how are you all ? Guess what I am already graduated and working as a system engineer in a web hosting company and damn I have been gone for a long time. Also can't believe that sc bw hd remastered thread got shut down with the same old heated arguments that has been around for decades . Thing's around here doesn't change at all hehe. I am just glad BlinDy is still around not sure about other people though haha.
Gonna post this on Reddit MUHAHAHA. Though I know I'll get ignored but meh.
Edit: Got ninjaed by 4 hours....
I hope so. We're way overdue. I still have no clue why they haven't done it before. They've had the rights to hold Starcraft tournaments since 2014 but they havent' done anything outside of broadcasting the SonicTV Starleagues.

As soon as you give them the needed 500k$ for running one I am sure they will gladly start a new Starleague.
